On January 12, 2024 I went to Wichita, KS with the sole purpose of catching ATSF 676 on it's final run under active service for BNSF. As of the time of this video, ATSF 676 is at MAC (Mid America Car, Kansas City) awaiting RCL and future hump yard assignment. What a tragedy to lose such an amazing unit, well known for it's killer RS3L horn and it's still sharp appearance after 30 years of service. Farewell, 676, and may your years in the hump yard be long and meaningful...?



*NOTE this is it's last ACTIVE run, when/if it is ever moved to/from a yard it will be DIT (dead in tow) and thus not active. By the crazy miracle it gets reassigned to mainline service then I'll change this title, don't worry.
