William D. Frazier hails from Brunswick, Georgia. After receiving his Master's degree, he did something that most of his peers never dreamed of; he explored China. After 20 years of studying, living, and working in China and building relationships there, William has carved out quite a comfortable niche for himself. He is a close confidant of many of the manufacturers and producers in the Greater China Region. In this interview, William gives us information about the book he's written. His book deals with connecting industry and cultural differences between America and China and how more Black Americans need to take on this challenge. In our conversation, we talked about previous waves of immigration already in Asia and the potential waves of black immigrants to come. We also touched on the need for a Black American Chamber of Commerce in Asia.

Nando's is an upscale barbershop which is centrally located in the Makati district of Manila, in the Philippines. Manila can be pretty hectic. However, when I found this place, I knew I could put my bags down, clear my head and get my bearings. This area in general, is a place where not just black expats but Cameroonians in particular, can come and feel some semblance of home. When I got up from the chair, my waves were spinning. A barber who knows his craft is a rare find in Asia. They not only gave me a great haircut but the owner and his wife were more than hospitable to me.
