A Ukrainian native, my family immigrated to Virginia as refugees in 1990, post Soviet Union collapse. Her story is about a woman who overcame a tremendous amount of pain to show up with love in the world. In Ru's book, The Evolution of Healing, she walks the reader home to their own Self, feeling embraced and comforted. She believes we are in this together.
