I put a few spongebob words into a rap lyrics generator, then used 15.ai to make it sound like spongebob was rapping it. Then I found a free beat in youtube's audio library, edited the words and music together, and finally made an album cover. This was made for fun in about 2 hours, and I really like how it turned out! I love Daft Punk, so when I found out that they were retiring, I wanted to make some kind of tribute to show how much their music truly means to me. Therefore, I created the song. Having been born in the year 2000, Daft Punk has been a popular band my entire life, with a powerful connection to the bridges between individuals' realities. To me, their music almost feels like a gateway into their, and others', lives and emotions, in a way that can never truly be relayed through their words. Most songs they've made have had the feeling of painting a story through their music. Personally, it's just as invigorating for me to look at the painting after it's been created as it is to see the painting be created in real time. Also, I just wanna give a shout out to their anime, Interstella 5555: I highly recommend everyone to watch it, not just because of the incredible music, but also the deeply thought out and loving story. I'm so impressed that they weaved an entire album together while also creating a Full scale movie with the creator of some of their favorite animes they watched as a kid, all while telling a captivating story that can be interpreted as an allegory for anything from the dangers of the music industry to racial and native discrimination and exploitation. It even has a hopeful ending. 10/10, check it out if you can :) Lastly, this song is copyright free, so you can use this in a video of your own if you'd like. However, I'd appreciate it if you could put a link in the description of your video that brings people to this video, to let people see were the original song came from. In July of 2017, I was accepted into the UCLA summer film program for high-school students, which was, and still is, a crazy honor for me. When I was there, I got to edit this film with the help of the incredibly-talented Avery O'Rourke, who double-dutied as our writer as well. Even though my equipment kept failing on me, we managed to sail past the obstacles with ease, due to the focused attitude of our DP Jack Wilkinson, and most of all, our stupendous Director Madyson Goss, who, on top of everything else she did, made sure we all felt heard and respected.
