Artist Bio: After a stunning rebrand and adopting a whole new alias, JoJo Wave has returned to the UK music scene at last. Based across the South East of England, this brutally honest artist has been perfecting his sound and style since the age of 12, when he first tried his hand at writing lyrics. After a short musical hiatus, he put pen to paper again in 2010 under the character ‘Zohan’, and emerged in the Grime scene in late 2012, releasing an abundance of singles, EPs, and visuals. The Wavy One worked tirelessly carving his lane in the industry for many years, before focusing on a complete rebrand in 2017. Inspired by gritty legends such as Big H, Potter Payper, Kevin Gates and Tupac, JoJo Wave has tunnel-visioned his passion into the Rap and Hip-Hop genres and is back in the state of enjoying the overall creative process of being an artist. Having ticked off a goal by performing in one of the hotspots in Prague, JoJo now sees success as his fans simply enjoying and relating to his music, and aims to only create honest and raw content. After his first release of the new alias being ‘Pink Runtz’ which is out now, JoJo has many more releases in the pipeline, such as the forthcoming ‘Flavourz EP’, a three-track project with visuals. JoJo Wave is an all-round talented songwriter, vocalist and performer, with the latest added flavour of creating and hosting his own podcast, ‘What’s Appenin Podcast UK’, which currently has eight live episodes and hundreds more planned.
