subjects or citizens suffer then they will in turn do the same to you. But it's more complicated than that. CGP breaks down a set of rules and the first part is all about how rulers rule in a dictatorships. He says that no man rules alone. They must delegate to get others to act on his or her behalf. The managerial classes do most of the leg work and if you don't keep them happy in your dictatorship then you will be replaced by them if you don't do what they want. The second thing to remember is that to keep the keys to power, over the managerial class of generals and bureaucrats that do things for you you need a decent treasury. You can spend your money on citizens to buy their loyalty or you can spend your treasure to buy the loyalty of the bureaucrats. But you can't do both in a dictatorship. Your political rivals will promise your treasure to bureaucrats if you spend too much on the citizens. Loyalty in dictatorships is the most important thing. Dictators need to minimize the number of key supporters they have because it puts pressure on him to pay out money from his treasury. So the dictator purges people that helped bring him to power. Those are the useful idiots we hear so much about that communist dictators want to get rid of. Now I understand why they are taken out. Not because they are a threat but because they represent an obligation because the ruler has to pay them. That's why the abandon their revolutionaries? The next point CGP makes is that the keys to gaining power are different then the keys to keeping it. The idea is to pay as much money as you can to your cronies. The story starts in Talhouse the last battle on the road to Paris in Napoleonic war. Major Sharpe is worried about dying in battle so he signs over his money to his wife Jane by giving her a letter with power of attorney. It's just a precaution and his bank account is worth 10,000 Gineas. The battles goes badly at first and the British are forced to retreat temporarily. The the commander gets wounded and Sharpe takes over temporary command and storms the fortress and wins the battle. After the battle one of jealous toxic alpha male officers insults Sharpe's wife and then Sharpe slaps him and is forced into a duel. That seems more like the Sigma quality of standing up to authority. But not really because he's white knighing. As for Jane her best so called friend, a widow with wrinkles says Sharpe is worth the worry. That soldiers are not worth it. Jane leaves Sharpe and returns to England with her female friend and they clean out the bank account and she meets another man and starts a new love affair even though her husband is still alive and on the run. She's looking for security now that her husband is gone just like all women have done throughout history. Meanwhile Sharpe was shot by a woman when he went looking for an officer that said he witnessed Sharpe killing a couple of French soldiers and stealing Napoleon's gold. But he was murdered by the people trying to frame Sharpe. A guy named Ducos with a name that sounds like count duku. This show has ben created for women because it's full of relationship drama. "Hi Sandman, This story which describes my city trip with a woman from Russia. The story started last summer in a big Russian town. My brother married his Russian woman and the whole family travelled from the Netherlands to Russia to join the party. After my divorce I've been single for a period of around 5 years so i thought it was time to have some romance or action. By using tinder I Met a Russian woman which I spend some great days with. I didn't mind paying for dinners and drinks as I knew she had very poor financial resources and I enjoyed her companionship. Although there was no sexual action (there was hardly any opportunity) we had kissing and we had fun. As we had only a very short but good time together, we decided to meet again several months later. The original plan to invite her to the Netherlands failed as the visa request was denied. Therefore we met in turkey as she didn't need a visa for that country. I looked forward to meeting her. She made a good impression on me as well as on my family. But the trip in turkey turned out to be a cold turkey. She didn't seem happy to meet me when I saw her at the airport. Not only did I buy her flight tickets, paid for the hotel etc., I also brought her very nice presents from the Netherlands. But the reward was nothing more than a kiss on the cheek. But the worst things still had to come. She had an obsessional fear of stains introducing all kind of rules which I had to follow. She also behaved very unpolite going crazy when things didn't go the way she wanted. Touching her was almost impossible as it had to be precisely the way she wanted and she would react violently if that wasn't the case. She even hit me when I put some stuff on the wrong place. I immediately hit her back in the same way. If you hear some stories about Russian men hitting their Russian women, please think about this. After having some emotional arguments we decided trying to make the remaining holiday as good as possible and making a restart. After all we had to share a room for some days. However she would walk in every shop she liked expecting me to pay for her clothing, medicines, presents for her family and so on. At one point I asked her why she expected me to pay for all this stuff. She answered that I had to pay because of being a man. I answered that in that case I expected her to fuck as a woman. She agreed about this to my surprise and promised me to have sex. Only she was having her period now (which was actually true). But hey, there are more ways to satisfy a man. Now, she desperately wanted to buy a few hundred dollar leather bag she saw some days before. But as there was still no physical action I kept my wallet closed.
