Merrick Garland Stammers Through Confirmation Hearing and the Supreme Court is Predictably Garbage
Day one of the Senate Confirmation hearing for Merrick Garland to become the Attorney General was hilariously devoid of coherent thought. What the man who is supposed to be the top cop in the land does not know about relevant cases and issues to America could fill multiple warehouses. Um's and ah's a plenty from the nearly 6 hour long proceedings.
The Supreme Court of the United States had a chance to hear any of the election cases that had been appealed up to their desk, and predictably, they passed on them hard. Justices Alito and Gorsuch joined in on the complete and through dissention penned by the great Justice Clarence Thomas. He wanted to hear the cases, he wanted to set precedent, but Roberts, Kavanaugh and Barrett hid under their desk to avoid doing anything.
Hopefully they are getting ready for some new roommates, as the Atlantic has penned a wonderful piece outlining the need to abolish the Electoral College and pack the Supreme Court.
The CBC joins up with the BBC, Microsoft and Intel to combat online 'disinformation' and 'misinformation', because when I look for beacons of truth, I look to Mega Corporations and State Broadcasters.
Chicago Democrats are scared of Grand Theft Auto for the dumbest of reasons. They believe simulated car jackings are causing more real life car jackings.

YouTube bounced an interview conducted by NewsMax from President Trump because it violated their nebulous guidelines.
All of this is being done by Leftists that crave for Daddy Government to root out wrongthink so that the evil people will just go away and the likes of Hillary Clinton can provide the Entertainment.

When given a golden opportunity to hold Big Tech accountable, leave it up to the government to bungle it up. Glad it's not just a North American thing.
Australian Government enacted a worthless cash grab on platforms promoting and using news outlets to push equity instead of competence. Thus, circumventing the market and creating the appearance of doing something to curtail the powers of Big Tech, without doing anything at all. It all amounts to a shakedown by the Government that is successful in one Country, and will lay the groundwork for others to follow suit. All this will do is hurt non Corporate creators.

Another day, another broken promise. What was supposed to be a triumphant victory when Biden made the Campaign Promise to reunite families at the border has evolved into an additional camp being opened. lol.
The media is reporting it as a center for children, but I would hardly categorize 13-17 teenagers as merely "babies being ripped from their parents arms". The cope is strong right now with CNN and Washington Post running cover for this hypocrisy, it's not working out well though. It would be beneficial for the Administration to have a competent Press Secretary to answer this correctly, but that's not the case with Psaki there to claim oh 'muh pandemic'.

The 2020 Census will prove costly for poorly run Democratic States and greatly benefit those who have been fortunate enough to be smart with their Governance. The reappropriation of Congressional Seats are taking effect for the 2022 Mid Terms, and the Dem's will feel the crunch then and definitely will in the 2024 General Election.
The disparity of the will of the State at large and the Cities has reached a fever pitch in Oregon, Northern California and Idaho. Tired of the underrepresentation in their State Government, the move to create a Greater Idaho is gaining traction as 5 Oregon Counties will have a referendum to vote to join Idaho and leave Oregon to Portland, Salem and Eugene. Sucks to Suck.

Early Tuesday morning, the greatest golfer (arguably athlete) of a generation got into a potentially life threatening car accident as Tiger Woods rolled his vehicle and sustained a leg injury that required surgery. No one else was injured and thankfully everything seems to be going as well as it can right now. Here's to Tiger making a full and speedy recovery.
As for his career after this, it will probably be a wrap for the 45 Year Old Phenom.

Forming some sort of Middle Aged Fab Four is the collective of Sidney Powell, L. Lin Wood, Rudy Giuliani and now Mike Lindell by being sued by the Dominion Voting Systems company. Same monetary claim of $1.3 Billion dollars, similar claims of profiteering a la Rudy with his Podcast, Dominion claims that Lindell sold many more pillows because of his vocal support of claims of fraud.
He appears to be in great spirits and anticipates the Discovery period to present his case and the evidence we have been hearing about. Looking forward to seeing what Mike has from the great state of Minnesota.

The House of Representatives convened another hearing, this time focusing on Big Tech and Main Stream Media's role in the January 6th Riots, Right Wing Extremism and White Supremacy (because this is what will continue to happen over the next 4 years endlessly). Several good points were brought up, but they were immediately undercut by how they were framed. The fusion of Opinion Journalism and Factual News Reporting is an issue and distorting the facts another, but heaping everything on one side and branding them the liars and grifters is not a tenable position to a healthy society.
Regardless of the outcome of the hearing, Democrats are already picketing Cable providers to have Fox News, OANN and NewsMax removed from providers because 'muh democracy'.
