Welcome to the Gameboy version of Legend Of Zelda: Link's Awakening! We are going through and playing this game on the Super Nintendo through the Super Gameboy addon for the system. This game is a throwback to the old Zelda Games from a long time ago and you can really see where the whole franchise took off. This is the Zelda game that has all of the weird Mario references (sprites) for some reason. It has Chain Chomps, Shy Guys, Goombas, and a whole lot more. I would even say that the guy in the starting building resembles Mario a little bit too much. We get our shield and sword and begin on our epic adventure through this game. It is surprising how much fun these old games are, and Zelda is one of the best games to review from that time period as they were always groundbreaking.
