Hi. My girlfriend and I are in a long distance relationship. Sometimes at night she'll leave the phone on after we go to sleep. However, she heard this sound playing down the phone last week on Sunday January 16th 2022, at 1:19am and decided to record it for me because it creeped her out. She says it sounds like talking and was sure it wasn't my voice. I was fast asleep at the time so it definitely wasn't me. I think it might just be static though. It sounds robotic. However, I do see where she is coming from. It does sound weird and sound a bit like strange talking. She's said this isn't the first time she's heard this type of sound/talking through the phone too after she left the phone call on at night when we went to sleep, and she has told me that it sounded clearer previously the last few times she heard it. I usually fall into a deep sleep at night so I do not hear anything coming from my phone if the call is left on during the night. However, that is not all, over the past 2 years, ever since she moved back to her family home for work purposes, she says that strange things have been happening to her. She says she wakes up with unexplained bruises on her body in the morning. She once also had a bite mark on her arm when she woke up and sent me a picture as proof. She also says she hears strange sounds in the house some of the time, like floor boards creaking as if someone is walking around in other parts of the house or upstairs, even when she is sure no one is home and that she is home alone. Things also go missing around the house or are moved from their original position without explantion, such as jewellery and kitchen utensils being misplaced/disappearing. A few times she has also heard voices in the house, even when she was the only one at home. Once, music in her sister's room started to play and her sister and family were all downstairs and heard it. Her family have noted these strange occurances happening in the house too. These all sound like typical poltergeist/haunting activity examples, well documented by others who have experienced similar situations. However, I'm an athiest and therefore am a skeptic and I don't believe in ghosts and shit. But that sound recording did really creep me out when she sent it to me. It could just be static as the call was left on over night, and possibly other electronics in either my room or her room interfered with the call, but it does sound a bit like talking. Hoping you guys may be able to shed some light on the situation should you have heard of similar things. Thanks.
