Snowblower Intake Chute Light (LEDs)
This project added bright cool white LEDs to my snowblower's intake chute so I can see the driveway ahead. The headlights are partly blocked by the intake chute as well as the discharge, so alone, they do a poor job of illuminating the ground ahead. I had previously also replaced the headlight bulbs with slightly brighter warm white LED bulbs, as well as the bulb in an auxiliary light I added in back. The bulbs were swapped so that I could run the lights without the engine running, mainly for logging. The cool white chute LED strips are way brighter than the bulbs and contrast nicely against the warm white, visibility is now much better.

My second best camera got submerged for several minutes at the bottom of my swamped canoe while I tried to rescue belongings and tow the boat to shore. Caught off guard, sitting sideways with the camera on my lap and my dry box open, it took awhile once onshore to pick out all my wet belongings to even find the camera.
