6:38 Helios-44-2 58mm f/2 Lens Footage
If you're interested in vintage photography lenses or maybe you are looking for a cheaper alternative to thousands of dollars worth of premium lenses. Whichever situation you're in, this video might help you make a decision.
You may ask why buy cheap old glass when you have premium GMaster glass sitting on your shelf? That's easy. Vintage lenses have character that today's glass cannot replicate (unless you spend countless hours in Photoshop and altering your camera's settings). I recently purchased the Helios-44 58mm f/2 lens in practically new condition off Ebay. My world has been flipped upside down and now I'm hooked on this new hobby of mine. I want to know the history, uses, and everything there is to know about these lenses. Speaking of which, here's my slowly but surely vintage lens wish list;
Minolta Lenses
Lens Mount: Minolta MD/MC
Minolta 28mm f/2.8 MD Rokkor
Minolta 58mm f/1.2 MC Rokkor
Minolta 85mm f/1.7 MC Rokkor

Most newer cameras have the ability to change picture profiles and manufacturers even allow us to change the parameters to fit our needs. Within this video you'll understand what a picture profile is, how to use it, how to adjust it, and as an added bonus, I show you how to achieve a flat picture profile to simulate log footage. This can be extremely useful if your camera doesn't have this feature or if you need to shoot at ISO 100 under bright conditions.

Here is my 6 month long term review of the Pilotfly Adventurer. The gimbal has so much too offer but with a few quirky issues. In this video I'm going to go over the following topics;
- The good things
- The BAD things
- Walk/Run Stabilization Test
- Ronin-S Competitor?

Before you watch this stabilization test, I would recommend checking out my unboxing and first impressions video right here; https://youtu.be/RmqETcsCK_s
This is a quick stabilization test of the brand new Pilotfly Adventurer gimbal. Keep in mind while walking and running, I'm putting the gimbals into different positions to see how well it holds up in these positions including underslung, upright, slanted, etc. I gave a few different scenarios including normal walking, smooth walking, typical running, smooth running, and I also do one walking but with my Sony a6500's steady shot turned off. So far I am extremely pleased with this gimbal and I think it's a serious competitor against others like the Zhiyun Crane 2. Tell me what you think about this gimbal and if you are considering an upgrade!

This is what my life is like in the Air Force at Keesler AFB!
I love the base, it's beautiful with plenty of things to do on and off base. You would definitely have a blast getting stationed and/or going to tech school here. Oh AND every other Friday is a non-training day... that is pretty cool
***UPDATE per request of Trainee***
Apparently the rules have changed a bit over there but I'll explain how Keesler operated while I was there. So there were three statuses for the Airmen there. IP, ITP, and ATP. IP is your status when you arrive there and for the next week or so. You will have to wear your blues everyday and attend briefings daily. Once you finish all of that you are upgraded to ITP which means you still have to wear some type of USAF uniform (unless your in your dorm building) outside of duty hours (which was 0600-1530). After you pass two room inspections, two open rank uniform inspections and assuming you're not a DBA, you will get promoted to ATP status. Which grants you authorization to wear civilian clothes anytime outside of duty hours and you can go off base whenever you please, as long as you're back before 2200 on weekdays, 0000 on weekends. As far as shipping a car, you can't get that until you're ATP status. So I had my parents drive my car down THE DAY I hit ATP haha! PT changes times depending on the warmer/colder seasons. So I was there during the summer so it was Monday, Wednesday, and Friday in the mornings from 0345-0445. In the colder months it'll be from 1545-1645 I believe. I hope this clears up some of the things I didn't mention in the video which I apologize for! I was trying to keep it short for you guys!
Thank you to all of my supporters, sponsors, and fans. I couldn't do any of this without all of you, I love all of you!

The most common question I receive: How often do you travel in the Air Force? The answer isn't as straight forward as others might've told you but no worries! This video will quickly unpack what you can expect (based on your AFSC of course).

I decided to participate in the 2018 We Are Airmen Recruitment Video Contest. After a week of scripting the film and getting everything together, here's the final product. I hope you enjoy and finger's crossed for the outcome! I would like to thank my supervisor, friend, and mentor, SSgt Gregory Randle for taking the time to act and bring some humor into this project.
