They also did the third round of Request Board quests: "Takedown: Ignas", "Lost & Found: Best Goggles", and "Big Game: Rogal Vvarga". In the process, they explored most of the northwestern Aurora Shelf valley, which includes the Moonbright Regiment Outpost and Sullied Temple of Abitalia locations. They will now finish their climb to the peak of Prison Island for some important events that will conclude Chapter 4. 0:00 - Game Load 0:38 - Colony 9 The party resumes at the Colony 9 Camp. Under Affinity Growth, each party member finishes purchasing nodes on their second growth panel. That leaves everyone's third panel to finish. When they are ready to go, the party skip travels to the Foghewn Augustus Grave on Travalga Bridge, Black Mountains. 6:27 - Prison Island, Black Mountains West of Travalga Bridge, the party climbs Basverg Belfry. When they reach the top of the stairs, they construct an Ether Lift. At the top of the Ether Lift, the party constructs an Ether Mast. They also construct an Ether Slide. They take it northeast to the top of Prison Island. They find the Prison Island Camp near the end of the slide. Just east of the camp, the party goes inside and follows a path south. It leads to a room with a Relic. Contents include a Gem Unlock Kit; a Mysterious Fragment; Strategy Manual, vol. 20; and an Analyzer Scope. Rex unlocks his final Gem slot with the kit. Everyone's Gem slots, Accessory slots, and Affinity Growth panels are now all available. East of the Prison Island summit, the party views an Affinity Scene with Matthew and A. The party climbs the stairs to the Prison Terrace. 14:54 - Prison Terrace The party approaches the destination on the Prison Terrace for a scene. Great, this guy again. After the scene, it is boss time against the lethal Moebius N, Level 49. He is good at carving up party members with his blade. He is especially dangerous when he reaches the rage threshold. Well-timed Chain Attacks will help the party against this guy. 26:33 - Chapter 4 Conclusion After the battle, more cutscenes take place. In a long flashback, we return to the old City for the fateful events of its last day. During the flashback, the player controls a Level 30 Na'el in battle against a Level 49 Moebius N. She does not have the opportunity to defeat him, though, as more scenes take place after the battle. We learn the name of Matt and Na'el's grandad, which is passed down to another character in the main story of Xenoblade Chronicles 3. After another scene in the present, Chapter 4 ends. 37:13 - Chapter 5 Start We continue with a scene that starts Chapter 5. The party arrives in a suburban scene that would look normal enough to us but is alien to the party. Another scene takes place as they approach the cityscape overlook. Frankly, I was expecting a scene such as this during Xenoblade Chronicles 3's main story, but it fits here. We gain brief control of Matthew. As he enters the yard with the piano music, a cutscene sequence with Na'el takes place. You may want to pay attention to the news dialogue, as well. It opens up some interesting possibilities. Regardless, after the illusion is ripped away, the party meets Alpha. Looks familiar if you played Xenoblade Chronicles 1, though we knew him by a different name in that game. 50:54 - Origin The party gains control in Origin. The main Chapter 5 objective is to defeat Alpha. For now, they turn around and take the Portal back to the Prison Terrace. 51:48 - Prison Terrace, Black Mountains The party skip travels to the Command Center, Colony 9. 52:27 - Colony 9 The party concludes the Community tasks for Linka and Panacea in the Command Center. At the Colony 9 Camp, The party crafts Steel Protection IV, Ironclad IV, Tailwind V, and Steel Protection V. Then, they save. Next time, they will confront Alpha in Origin. Thanks for watching!
