1994 Montgomery Conventional Hydraulic Elevator @ Dillards North Asheville Mall (Asheville, NC)
I had to film this 2 months later because this went Out of Service in August when I originally visited. Now it works again 2 months later!
This is your basic “Conventional Styled” Elevator with Older Innovation Universally Cheap fixtures. These are my least favorite Montys out there, but I still kinda like them despite the IU fixtures as they typically have neat features, like a good motor and solid ride qualities. This one ain’t too different. It also has the odd Circle Laterns too! Design wise and motor wise, I prefer the Schindler HT 330A at the South one; but still not bad for a runner up.

Turns out this place had an elevator add on and I didn't notice or I came way too early to see it being installed. I was last here in January 2021 and don't recall ever seeing this elevator.
Anyway, it's a brand New ThyssenKrupp Elevator, which isn't shocking considering TK dominates TN now a days. For a company that makes Boring elevators and absolutely trash Slap On Mods, I think TKE hit it out of the park this time around! The Cab Designs are nice and sleek, they used MAD Atoll Buttons that light up blue for this cab and not that BAD BullShit ClASSic crap, it has a cool Blue ACME Floor, and it's a nice running Endura! TKE did a good job with this install! Honestly if the Soft Touch gets modded or replaced, I wouldn't mind TK replacing it entirely with another Endura Elevator EXACTLY like this one, with the nice blue Atoll Buttons and ACME Indicator. Though I think this was put in around Early 2021, I think this could've been installed around 2019-2021.

Here's my list of the 5 Worst Elevators of 2021! Sorry if the audio is glitchy, but I was unable to use my usual mic for this video or the last Top 5 List of the best elevators.
We now get to the main elevators, 4 of them. Despite having 4 elevators, these are still BUSY AF!
Ignoring that issue, these honestly run pretty well and don't seem too worn out despite how busy these are. And they talk like the last set! In this video, I ride two separate cabs up and down, unfortunately with interruption going down both times.

This elevator is basic for the most part, excluding the red analog indicator and the lobby panel green analog indicator. This could run so much better.

Turns out this was once a United States Elevator installed around the Late 1990's. The only original fixtures left being were the Arrow Laterns on the outside of each floor. Turns out it’s another Innovated Elevator, this one though uses Premier, an interesting button but a bit too glossy looking for my taste. This was the 2nd time I've seen these fixtures. At least this panel is a bit different and not the typical stupid ass Universally Cheap Slop Ons. I can tell this is an early mod, probaly done around the Early-Mid 2000's, which is utterly ridiculous for a mod to happen THAT early. The mod is interesting to say the least and holds up well, but the BEEP! going floor to floor is pretty irritating though. The rest of the elevator looks nice though, especially the Blue Indicator and button colors.

Also known as Whitehall Corporate Center/Office Building 2.
Before the 500A invasion, this and a nearby building with ThyssenDovers had these Traditional Tractions.
While the fixture choice would be better with Impulse or Dover Vandal Resistant, these are not bad by any means. In fact, this set runs better than any of the Schindler 500A's I've ridden here on the property, that includes this service elevator. Interestingly, it has Lanterns inside and has a glitched out Dot Matrix that likely indicates what would've been a working arrow indication.
FUN FACT: All elevators on the Whitehall Corporate Center Property are Tractions and all go the same speed of 350 FPM regardless of floors or brand.

Here is the Former Sears (now Teddy's Emporium) Elevator, another Otis that was DeInnovated by Innovation around the 1990's. Like the main Otis Elevator, the cab design is Original, but it received some generic Innovation Slap On. The Arrow Indicators on the Main Control Panel are the only things that work, as the number Indicators are burnt out... lovely. I think MEI may have modded this due to the "Microwave Beep", but who knows?
The industrial design is odd, but this definitely the most bland looking elevator here.
Also, be careful when filming this. I got busted when I was snapping photos of this cab and I got confronted by an employee. I don't why of all things they got their panties in a bunch over me snapping pics of their elevator, but it shows how easy people get suspicious over photography of all damn things. I didn't want to start problems so I just blindly answered their questions and made my way to the door. Probably not going to come back here...

Welcome back to Appalachian State University, a college that is a huge ass city and generally impossible to film every elevator here without coming back multiple times. This is Round 2 of App State finds!
This is a basic Series 1 and I knew this college would have one somewhere around here. Runs fine and is double sided, although a risky filming experience as the bottom floor opens up to a front desk...
