Following a bizarre gathering of current members of parliament, a mayor, former president, convicted felon (Yengani) at Jacob Zuma's illicit Nkandla resident in Kwa-Zulu Natal, we are left wondering, what exactly is this dodgy collection of characters up to? Media outlets have reported several reasons for the gathering, including: * To convince #Zuma to do the right thing and appear befroe the #Zondo commission * To discuss "White monopoly capital" * To plan a coordinated political effort to "bring South Africa back to its former glory." Whatever their reasons, the leading opposition party, the Democratic Alliance (#DA) has filed a request with the Speaker of the National Assembly to investigate whether government resources were used to hold this meeting.
