Severing Ties with Amazon. Censorship is never OK.
There are Amazon Product Links in several of my videos. Please use those links for Information Purposes Only and do not purchase anything from Amazon. In case you were not aware, AWS (Amazon Web Services) is removing Parler from its servers with about 24 hours notice, essentially shutting down that platform. Even if you don't like Parler, Republicans, or anything else, we must agree that Censorship is never OK and not support those who do so. ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DEMRUiovFvo
Just a short video showing how the Gryphon AR groups from 50 yards with the new Sparc 2 MOA red dot.
These were shot from a rest as I zeroed in my new scope.
For comparison, I tried a mag of .22 LR with the CMMG conversion kit to see the difference in point of impact.
I also ran some Wolf .223 62gr to see how it compares to the 55gr that I initially zeroed with.

So we picked up a new dog, Buddy, from the local shelter, Anderson PAWS.
Buddy is about 2 and a half years old, and knows how to climb fences, so I had to make a quick mod to the existing 12 foot gate from Tractor Supply.
If your wondering, Buddy is a Lab/Hound mix.
If your local and looking to adopt, or if your far away and want to make a donation to Anderson PAWS, here is their website:

The mast is about 25 feet tall to where the Balun for the OCF Dipole will hang.
Materials used: 1 7 foot Chainlink fence post, 2 10 foot top rails, 1 10 foot section of 1.25 inch Schedule 40 PVC, and some nuts and bolts I had hanging around.
The 1.25 inch PVC fits perfectly over the fence top rail. It had a lot of wobble at the connection so I used about 2 feet to make that connection a bit more rigid, then the rest to add about 5 feet to the top.
I'm not saying this is the best way to get this done, just showing the way that I did it.
I'll be moving the antenna out of the tree and onto the mast tomorrow.
Hope this helps someone,

To get straight to Programming jump to the 3 minute mark.

I spent last night testing this Bluetooth programmer and found a few glitches. After posting that video I spoke to Tidradio over their facebook ( https://www.facebook.com/TIDRADIO ) page to advise them of the issues and they watched the video and were able to solve all of them.
In this video I was able to successfully clone one Boefeng to another freshly factory reset Boefeng.
The bug that I accidentally discovered was related to the Weather Channels I had programmed in the radio. I did not have a Transmit Frequency on the weather channels, for obvious reasons. The lack of a TX Freq caused the program to crash.
The quick and dirty fix was to add 146.52 as a TX Freq to each of the weather channels and then the unit worked perfectly. Language and other settings also transferred correctly.
The other issue was the inability to program in a channel name. Per Tidradio, the app will not program a channel name ONLY for Channel 0, the other 127 will accept a name. I also tested this and was able to add a channel name to a new entry.
The main benefit of this dongle is the ability to rapidly clone multiple radios in the field with just a cell phone. It takes less than 30 seconds duplicate all channels and settings to another radio.
Hope this helps,
