It’s no coincidence that the Age of AI coincided with the Age of Creators and Brands. The tools for photography, design, video and editing have all been democratized and everyone has the opportunity to go beyond creating technology and work to establish their own brand. But although the tools are accessible, the knowledge of how to create effective brands is beyond what Chat GPT can do. So, today I’m talking to an expert on this topic: Kate Strachnyi.
Kate is a marketing consultant, content strategist, community manager, and podcast host. She founded DATAcated, a brand-amplification firm focused on helping companies reach their audience. She is also the host of the DATAcated On Air as well as one of LinkedIn’s Top Voices.
We’ll talk about the array of tools available and how to use them to your advantage to create successful brands that bring you the results you didn’t know you could achieve. Whether you're an individual or a company, tune in to learn how to create a brand that sets you apart and achieves results you never thought possible.

Over the years CSS has gone from a language that was fun to something that will soon require the equivalent of a PhD. What went wrong? Tools like SASS, Bootstrap, Tailwind and Assembler CSS have tried to simplify and challenge the notion of how to work with the language.
In this episode, we'll take a look at some of those tools, what they're trying to do and where CSS is going these days. Finally, I'll do a demo of minimal and classless CSS frameworks like Pico and Simple that require no class definitions to create decent designs. We'll also discuss frameworks like Open Props that modularize and attempt to simplify what's going on.

let's take a look at a course I'm working on and I'll give you some tips on how to create shortcuts for querySelector and querySelectorAll so that they use the dollar sign variable...just like jQuery.
I've got a new series that I'm working on called JavaScript as a Second Language, and I wanted to give you a peek at how I'm writing these. So if you look at what's over here, it's a markdown file in a radio style format so that I can communicate with producers how I want this thing to be displayed. So I've created a Photoshop file that has all these different screenshots. As part of creating this project, I decided to create this little app, and I wanted to show you a trick that is a shortcut to query selector.

Few things become a dominant platform for the web. React is one of those, but that library is hyper focused on building user interfaces...not web applications.
So, another company Vercel created what's called a Meta Framework built on top of React to give you features that go beyond building interfaces.
It gives you just about every modern feature you need to help you build modern web applications. Things like routing, image optimization, an excellent development environment, support for just about any way to do CSS.
In this short course, I'll show you how to build a simple React JS quickly and highlight some of the main features that make this platform special.
