FEELING DEEPLY
It’s NOT OK to be upset. It’s NOT OK to be angry. It’s NOT OK to feel disappointed.
That’s what the world tells us. There's been a movement to watch our thoughts and feelings, making sure that we're positive at all times. We receive messages that we must shift these ‘bad’ feelings and find better ones. But when we do this, we close down and shut off parts of ourselves, suppressing the fullness of our emotions. To feel whole and be whole, we must honour all of it - good and bad. All emotions are beautiful and create a fullness and wholeness in our experience.
They are powerful forces that our bodies can use as fuel for action and healing. Our thoughts create reality, not the other way around. So when our reality doesn't look the way we want it to and brings up emotions that are unpleasant to us, that is the message we are being given to start building a bridge between what is and what can be.
Taking time to be aware of our reactions, thoughts and emotions will bring us into a space of clarity and balance where we can make informed decisions guided and supported by our soul... decisions that will usher in release and healing for ourselves and all of life around us.

Stuff everywhere! Bags, clothes, cars, iPads. We love our stuff. And over time, we’ve come to believe that this 'stuff' is what defines who we are. But our possessions will never fully satisfy the inmost desires of our soul. They never have. And they are not about to start. In fact, most of the time, it distract us from the very things that bring meaning to our lives.
Instead, our lives are defined by the choices we make. It is these choices that define our character, our authentic self. So choose wisely. Do not miss out by placing importance on things instead of people. Pursue beauty, hope, love and kindness. Pursue opportunity to improve this world for somebody else. Let’s be simply beautiful.

There will be days when you think that everything is going the way you had planned. And then there are days when you feel like you can't do one single thing right. On the days when you feel like the universe is throwing a tantrum, embrace it. Having a bad day is OK. It’s called life and it happens every day, all around the world, to people with the best intentions.
Acknowledging that a problem exists is the only real way to move on. Facing up to the problem is part of the healing process that is necessary to help us get back to brighter times.
No matter how dark it gets, the sun will rise, and we will try again.

We have always collected mushrooms from forests, but we have never tried growing them ourselves until we met Gary ‘The Mushroom Guy’ who explained how easy it is to grow your own Shiitake mushrooms at home, and more surprisingly, told us about how eating these mushrooms has had a positive impact on his health. We spent a morning filming with Gary, so that we could share his knowledge, and inspire you to also try growing your own mushrooms.
Film Tip/Trick – Where possible, use natural light when filming your subject. We prefer to shoot underneath shaded areas (such as trees) to allow for light continuity. While the focus of this film was the DIY element of growing mushrooms, Gary was also very passionate about the health benefits of Shiitake mushrooms, so we chose to include a short section of him cooking and eating them – this helps to add the personal touch to this clip.

Life is like a dance, sometimes we know the steps and sometimes we make them up. Sometimes we follow the music and sometimes we make up our own tune. Sometimes we get our toes stepped on and sometimes we step on others toes. Sometimes you dance with a partner, and sometimes you dance alone. There are even times when we decide to sit out for a dance or two. But the good thing about life is that we can always join the dance again when we are ready.
And it doesn’t matter if we know the steps or not, we can make them up as we go along.
