HERE COMES THE SHOCKMASTER! Hello my Moggamaniacs and welcome to our next Let's Play series! To be honest we were going to do Pokemon Emerald but it was too easy for me and I needed a challenge...but I couldn't find a romhack that fit my specifications just yet for Emerald and I was strugglin with the 'do I play vanilla or a romhack!?' bit in my head so I decided, while I deal with that whole thing maybe I should play a spinoff Pokemon game instead. And so we landed on Let's Go Pikachu, because I'd recently bought it and didn't want the money to go to waste...but that would be too easy too, wouldn't it? So I decided to kick it up a notch and install the Let's Go Polished Pikachu mod for the game which allows you to catch all the Pokemon in the game without switching versions and also ups the game of all the trainers so there's a bit of difficulty, finally! And, I feel perfectly comfortable with it because, although I've never played LGPE before I HAVE done gen 1/Kanto before so my desire to play vanilla isn't as strong as it is for the gens I haven't played yet, so this is a good way to ease into it.
