Ride an elevator and enter the Animal Barrel to let Ellie go solo. After 2 Sneek mice, you’ll find the “K” letter in the spotlight. Ellie dislikes Sneek mice so if it spots one in the spotlight, it will get scared and run back. Throw barrels at the Sneek mice in the spotlights to clear the path. Bounce off a Re-Koil and you’ll get the “O” letter. After descending by the elevator, defeat another Sneek in the light and you’ll spot the Star Barrel. Defeat a Buzz with an iron keg and jump into the trap door to find a B Barrel. The first bonus area has Buzz bees circling above. Defeat them all with barrels within 25 seconds to get the B Coin. Back in the main area, hit a DK Barrel and carry an iron keg to throw over the wall so its hits Koin from behind and a DK Coin will reveal. Go up an elevator and throw an iron keg at a Sneek in the light with a red Buzz. Descend and you’ll find the “N” letter after defeating a Sneek in the light. Hold the button to vacuum in the barrel and throw it at the Sneek. Descend and pass a red Buzz to beat 2 Sneek mice in the light. Bounce off 2 Re-Koils to get the “G” letter and go by one more spotlight with a Sneek. Pass the no-animal sign for a coin and you’ll find the goal.

After a brief conversation, you’ll have a battle with Giovanni. Nidoking will use Focus Energy to boost its critical hit ratio, which will make Shadow Claw more easily deal a critical hit. Kangaskhan will use Dizzy Punch for a 20% chance of confusing the target and Sucker Punch to strike first. Honchkrow will use Swagger to confuse the target and Dark Pulse for a 20% chance of making the target flinch. Nidoqueen will use Earth Power for a 10% chance of lowering the target’s Special Defense stat and Superpower to deal great damage but lower the user’s own Attack and Defense stats. After the battle, Giovanni will leave, and you’ll be warped back to the Ilex Forest in the present time.

After defeating Kyurem’s new form, you’ll battle Ghetsis. Cofagrigus holds Leftovers with the combo of Toxic and Protect. Making contact with Cofagrigus causes its Mummy ability to spread. When Seismitoad uses Drain Punch, it steals HP from targets and doing contact with targets has a 30% chance of poisoning them with the Poison Touch ability. Eelektross will use Acrobatics since it has no item and Ground type moves won’t affect it due to its Levitate ability. Drapion will use Poison Fang to poison targets and Night Slash for more critical hits. Toxicroak will use Sucker Punch to strike first but won’t work if the target doesn’t use any attacking move.
