Report on Gamecocks Used in Fighting in Thailand - Animal cruelty in this video (fighting)
During my extended stay in Thailand amidst the covidhoax plandemic lockdown, I have been raising gamecocks for the past three years. Despite limitations on my finances, I ensure that they are treated with utmost care and attention. It is worth mentioning that I never engage them in fighting nor do I harm them in any way.

Recently, a Thai friend shared a video of two gamecocks fighting, assuming that I would appreciate it. However, it filled me with immense pity for these helpless creatures subjected to such cruelty. As an advocate of animal welfare, I strongly discourage the use of gamecocks in such brutal fights and urge people to treat animals with dignity and respect.

REPORT
Introduction:
This report aims to provide an overview of the use of gamecocks for fighting in Thailand. It addresses the practices, impact, and advocates against this form of cruelty towards animals. The information presented is based on available research and anecdotal evidence.

Background:
The utilization of gamecocks for fighting is a longstanding cultural practice in Thailand. Often referred to as cockfighting, it involves two gamecocks engaging in combat inside a designated arena. This activity has gained popularity among certain communities and holds historical significance. However, it is important to consider the ethical implications associated with this practice.

Current Scenario:
Although gamecock fighting remains prevalent in certain areas of Thailand, there has been a growing movement advocating for the end of such fights due to concerns about animal cruelty. In response to these concerns, various measures have been implemented by both the government and animal welfare organizations to regulate or ban this activity.

Animal Welfare Perspective:
The use of gamecocks in fighting raises numerous concerns regarding the well-being of these animals. Cockfights can often result in severe injuries, including broken bones, puncture wounds, and even death. The training methods employed to prepare gamecocks for fights typically involve prolonged confinement, harsh handling, and aggressive conditioning techniques, which can cause unnecessary distress and suffering to the birds.

Impact on Gamecocks and Society:
Gamecock fighting perpetuates a cycle of violence towards animals, promoting the notion that aggression and cruelty are acceptable forms of entertainment. Additionally, the breeding and selection of gamecocks for fighting purposes often prioritize physical attributes that enhance their combat abilities, potentially leading to genetic issues and deformities within the bird population.

Advocacy and Alternatives:
Many individuals and organizations are actively campaigning against the use of gamecocks in fighting. They promote the health and well-being of animals and advocate for transitioning towards alternative recreational activities that do not involve animal harm or exploitation. These activities can range from educational campaigns promoting awareness about animal welfare to support for legal reforms and establishment of animal sanctuaries.

Conclusion:
The use of gamecocks in fighting in Thailand poses significant moral and ethical challenges, as it involves the intentional harm and suffering of animals for entertainment purposes. While acknowledging cultural and historical significance, it is crucial to promote respect for animal welfare and explore alternative activities that celebrate the inherent value of all living beings.
