Castlevania: Curse of Darkness Hector meets Zead 4K, 60ᶠᵖˢ (RESTORED with AI and Machine Learning.)
Hello everyone! This is Castlevania Curse of Darkness, the second cutscene, in which Hector uses his power as Devil Forgemaster once again, and then he mets Zead. Restored to 4K with AI, Machine Learning and Neuronal Networks.
This was a rather difficult cutscene, because a lot of the scenes were from the distance, and because some of the effects present in the cutscene itself. Still after all the process was done I was quite happy with the results.
The original was a 512x488 at 30fps (29.97 to exact) and was restored to 4096x2944 and doubled the framerate with the help of AI in an increase of 800% the resolution.

This was a both beautiful and a pain in the ass to work with lol, mostly because there are quite some scenes from a far and because of the water which not always the IA models were picking it up right, I had to retry many times until I got it right. Overall also there were some problems on the settings because there is meant to be some mist which also produces the idea of more blurry images that the IA also picks slightly different that it used to so I had to fine tune so parts.

So this is the cutscene in which, The Emperor Diaz reveals his identity to the party, restored to 4K with AI, Machine Learning and Neural Networks.
This is also the last cutscene of Disc 3 ?. It's been a long road and Disc 3 has been pretty hard to work with given all the compression the cutscenes had. But overall I'm very happy with the end results. Hopefully by the end of next week and if nothing else arises, the Disc 4 cutscenes could be done.

This is The Legend of Dragoon; The Ending of the game, the final cutscene and the Epilogue, restored to 4K with AI, Machine Learning, and Neuronal Networks.
Oh boy... this was so hard to do, and so mentally exhausting, I honestly feel very tired once I finished, both cutscenes have several problems, the CGI one had some horrible compression artifacts and all kinds of noise. The "in-game" one was actually made on a much lower resolution, (240p) but re-packed at 360p with the frames, so IA also had a hard time figuring some of the details that should be there, honestly it would have been way better if they put actual game play, instead of recording it at such low resolution.
In any case it's finally done, after putting almost 4 moths of my life into this, I finished all the cutscenes in the best quality possible with today's technology available. Who knows maybe in the future I'll give them another try if AI gets even better, for now, I'll probably going to publish a video with all the cutscenes and no comparison shots in a couple of days and that's it.
Btw and speaking of comparison shots, this video has only a few, I thought that considering that all the cutscenes and stuff were almost 9 minutes long people wouldn't stay longer to see a high bunch of shots after that, so only put there a few.

Hello Everyone! This is Crisis Core: FFVII, Phoenix - Rebirth Flame, Summon, restored to 4K and 60fps, with AI, Machine Learning and Neuronal Networks.
This was a fun summon but a bit troublesome, it seems AI sometimes struggles with stuff like fire and the natural distortions that heat is meant to represent, the Ifrit cutscene had similar problems which is why I already had an idea on how to deal with them, so this time it went a bit faster.
Overall I enjoy working on the Summon cutscenes, I feel like they were a bit over the top on Crisis Core and that's why they look badass in 4K.
The original was in a 480x272 resolution and 30fps, in order to restored to 4K it was required an increase of more than 800% in resolution and doubling the fps,.

This was a pretty annoying cutscene to work just like the last one, in fact probably worse, the IA had a hard time trying to understand a lot of the rapid movements on the fight, both for upscaling and for doubling the framerate, I spend almost half of the week just correcting and redoing the frames necessary for that, it was extremely painful to do all of that manually until I got good results, on the other hand, once I got past the part of the fight the rest was actually quite easy and straightforward as usually talking moments don't have too much problem.

So this is the first time the Divine Dragon raids Deningrad after waking up, at Disc 3 restored to 4K with AI, Machine Learning and Neuronal Networks, it happens when you're finishing your first visit of Deningrad and once your party is reunited (just before leaving Shana sadly.)
This one was actually harder to do, I had some problems with the proportions at the begging so it took a couple of tries to get it right, but in the end here it is.

Oh boy, this is honestly one of my favourite cutscenes while at the same time been one of the most over the top ones, Exaflare is kinda ridiculous op, but anyway I love it!
The original was a 480x272 and 30fps video and was upscaled by a bit over 800% to get it at 4K and doubled the framerate to 60fps.
