Warsaw, Poland / Warschau, Polen / Varsovia, Polonia
Protesters flooded central Warsaw on Sunday to denounce the Constitutional Court's recent ruling on the supremacy of the Polish constitution over some EU laws. Protesters can be seen waving EU flags, including holding a giant one, while showing peace signs and pro-EU banners. The ruling is a huge blow to the primacy of EU law, a fundamental concept of the bloc. It has also ignited fears of Poland exiting the EU, despite membership being popular among the majority of citizens according to recent polling. Former EU chief Donald Tusk and current leader of Civic Platform called for protesters to gather on Sunday in to support the country's membership of the bloc, to which many obliged. Former Polish president Lech Walesa also reportedly took part in the protests. The current ruling Law and Justice (PiS) party has been accused of undermining judicial independence and rolling back democratic freedoms while also stacking the constitutional court with it's allies. The PiS government responded by reassuring a 'Polexit' will not happen, with Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki saying after the court's ruling that Poland's membership in the EU was "one of the highlights of the last decades."

Protesters and police clashed in Amsterdam on Sunday during a rally against the COVID-19 passport attended by thousands of people under the slogan 'Samen voor Nederland' literally 'Together for Netherlands'. The clashes began when authorities isolated a group of 50 people wearing black clothes and carrying flares from the main march. The scuffles ended when the police released the group. The new regulations mandating a COVID pass was introduced on September 25 and made proof of vaccination, recent recovery or negative test mandatory for entering public venues such as cinemas, restaurants or theatres. The Dutch government has justified the pass as necessary to prevent the spread of COVID-19 with the introduction of the rules tied to the relaxation of social distancing, and necessary capacity limitations, requirements for restaurants, cinemas, and other establishments.

An armed march of Black rights activists is due to take place in Tulsa on Saturday, May 29, two days ahead of the centennial of the Tulsa race massacre, honouring those killed in what has been called "the worst incident of racial violence in American history". The march is taking place as part of the National Convention for Black Power.

Hundreds of farmers take part in a tractor parade through the streets of Paris to protest over the recent ban on pesticides.
The event was organised by the French National Federation of Farmers’ Unions (FNSEA) following the government’s decision to scrap an exemption for neonicotinoid chemicals used by sugar beet growers.
Farmers across France were promised a three-year exemption from an EU ban in 2020, to protect their sugar beet seeds from disease. The chemicals used pose a risk to bees.
The Ministry of Agriculture claimed the u-turn came after an EU court ruled against exemptions, and said growers would be compensated.

The anti-migration Pegida (Patriotic Europeans Against the Islamisation of the Occident) 7th-anniversary rally was met by a large crowd of counter-protesters in Dresden on Sunday. The counter rally - organised by several left-wing groups - surpassed the Pegida protest with a participatory count of over 2000 people in the afternoon, according to first estimations. Police could be seen overlooking both rallies as a massive 'neutral zone' separated protesters on Dresden's Old Market Square. Pegida is a far-right movement that has been known to be critical of the German government’s immigration policies. The AfD (Alternative for Germany) youth group JA, the Identitarian Movement and anti-vaccination groups were among participants of the rally.
