Just wanted to talk about something I've been noticing with most mainstream games and remakes. With Prince of Persia Remake getting destroyed by gamers, I wanted to spark a debate about graphical generalizations. The reason for this is due to Final Fantasy VII being roped into the equation without people knowing about it's troubled development cycle. While FFVIIR was great graphically it still suffers slight hiccups on textures, and content was shifted to a multipart experience. (Because a graphically amazing game with the full story was not ideal for the team.) I wanted to present my argument here, an argument all about compromise. I wanted to pose a question about either taking a graphical hit or cutting content to get a remake finalized in a reasonable amount of time? Especially if you had to only pick one.
