This laptop is a very good idea for someone who loves to tinker with older hardware, likes to try and make a possible android box out of everything, or is a nostalgic Lenovo enthusiast in search of 15 year old IT memorabilia.
Item's case and power adapter do show signs of normal wear&tear over time: scuffs, stickers, the battery is good for just over one hour until it needs to be charged and it's not the original battery but a very convincing replacement. Screen has a couple of dead pixels on the left screen edge and obviously, this is not a touch-screen.
More specific, it sports a 2GHz Intel processor,
3Gb ram memory (Samsung and Hynnix),
640Gb Samsung Hdd (remaining free space ~600Gb).
The Prime Os operating system installed is only a beta version and only some Android apps will work. Some may be incompatible because it's not a tablet, some may be incompatible because it's display is not a touch-screen.
Once installed as a test, I found out that it no longer reads DVD's even though, with Linux operating system, the DVD drive works just fine. But that's ok, It's so very rare that I would use one anyway; the 3 USB ports should be enough.
