Well, here we are again. Fancy meeting you here. We're here trying to make something better. The door is a lot better days, and we're going to try to make things improve. The floor has been overlaid, so I'm literally going to raise the door up to keep the door from dragging. And the wall is in pretty bad shape. So we're going to rebuild the wall in here on this mobile home wall and put in another door that doesn't have a window. And here we go.

That tells you it’s running water through. I think I’ll leave that although it ain't doing much is it? OK. Cut it off with the oscillating saw? Ya, I need that, but it's rotted out down bad. Pretty bad here. You need to put in... Hi. So, I’ll get the screw gun again. I dropped in the cat's milk.

Going to have to pry that out.

The wood here's good. It just wasn’t fastened down here. So, it’s just flexing. So we need to get something there for it to fasten to. Oh. So they just put plywood here. You want to do a 2x4 in there? Yeah, we're going to have to build this back up.

All right. So, this is why you want to build up and do a good job, or else you end up with a door that... I think what I'll do... This is not mine but the land lord wants me to do it on a budget. That’s totally gone, right there. So what I'll do is I'll put some... Saw all that out of there. Hmmm. Oscillating saw it out?

I'll put a 2by in between these areas here, In between these two and then up under here to support that. It’s got a big old screw right there. Another big screw right there. Okay. Man. OK. So if I cut it here, put a 2by here to make it even this.

So that's what we're do. Get the sawzall out and start trying to see if we can salvage some of this without taking out a whole floor. That would really bust the budget. See you in a little bit.

Let’s set up a saw, Clay. A skill saw. I need a 14 and a half and a 14 and a quarter, 2x4.

I guess you were here to see. But, we put 2bys sticking out here, and we put another 2by here. Then I put this one to get it higher than the floor. So it would quit dragging on the overlaid floor. They put plywood over this. So that way we won't be dragging. And then we've got to cut at the opening so that the new door will fit.

Which goes up to 82 inches up here, gives us room. So next I will mark on the inside, the same, and the same. We got to cut these 2bys off. Great big journey.
