(English Translation Below) 我的Lo-Fi Worship 系列終於來到片尾曲了。 從去年就想要做 lofi 玩玩看，今年總算在這大半年左右的時間一一完成，也從原本只規劃10首變成15首，整整多了三分之一啊～ 很高興這系列能夠與許多人合作，也很多人反應很喜歡，我之後會將五章15首都串成一個長的（約一小時），讓一些說希望可以有一小時版的朋友可以方便使用。 這首本來已經由本人獨立完成了，但是覺得是個難得的機會，所以再次邀請我們教會一位年輕很有才華的敬拜主領 Sammi (Saffrose) 一起唱。 這位 Sammi 就是在系列第三首 My Strength 短短獻聲過的女生，我後來覺得她的好聲音不多出現一點真的很可惜，再加上我很希望可以鼓勵並栽培她在音樂事奉上的路，所以就破例邀請她在同一個系列再次出現，我就在上傳前第二天晚上透過手機陪她剛剛錄完這首歌，真的很值得，感謝主讓這事成了。 在我離開美國之前 Sammi 就跟我同一間教會，當時她還只是個不到十歲的小女孩，我也才剛滿20，他父母還曾經請我幫忙開車載她來回共學團體，當時真的沒想到如今會一起用音樂服事。如今她也是教會裡年輕人的領袖之一了，覺得感慨啊。 這次改編的是兩首近代的英文詩歌 King of My Heart and Raise a Hallelujah 足足六分鐘的大結局，用這兩首歌作為結尾，我自己認為很合適。無非就是希望這些音樂能夠使基督更在我們心中做王，也希望我們常泡在頌讚主的音樂中。坦白說這次做的並沒有很狹義的 Lo-Fi，也就是跟傳說中不斷讀書的女孩與貓聽的還是在味道上有些不同，但是既然最近都請人合作想凸顯人聲，所以就採用了目前的編曲方式。 雖然我頻道的觸及力有限，每首歌也是大約百來首的點播，但我也坦白說沒有很積極的將自己推到更多人面前，畢竟這都需要時間，而我更寧可將時間用來陪妻子孩子，真心希望這個系列能夠陪伴聽眾讀書、靈修、放空等等時光（或是在聚會前後、店家餐廳播放也可以），也讓你能透過不同風格的詩歌，向神誦讚。 之後如果還有時間，大家也喜歡的話，歡迎留言讓我知道，我也希望自己未來可以再做另一輪這個系列。 原曲 original songs：King of My Heart 詞曲 written by John Mark McMillan / Sarah McMillan 原曲 original songs：Raise a Hallelujah 詞曲 written by Jonathan David Helser / Melissa Helser / Jake Stevens / Molly Kate Skaggs 製作 produced by Ray Lin 樂器 instruments by Ray Lin 演唱 by Sammi Liu (aka Saffrose)＆ Ray Lin 影片 video by Artem Podrez from Pexels My Lo-Fi Worship series finally came to the end. Since last year this project had been on my mind, and I finally finished it in about 8 months this year. It has also changed from only 10 songs to 15 songs, which is 30% more than as planned~ I am very happy to work with many people through this series, and many people liked it a lot. Later I will put together these five chapters and 15 songs into a long video (about one hour), so that some friends who said they hope to have an hour version can have it. This song was originally sung by just myself, but I thought it was a good opportunity to ask Sammi (Saffrose), a young and talented worship leader from our church, to sing together. Sammi is the girl who sang briefly in the third song of the series, My Strength. I later felt that it was a pity that her good voice did not get heard more than it deserves. In addition, I hoped that I could encourage and cultivate her in the ministry of music. So I made an exception and invited her to reappear in the same series. I just finished recording this song with her on my phone 2 nights before the upload. It was really worth it, thank the Lord for making this happen. Sammi was in the same church as me before I left the United States. She was just a little girl less than ten years old and I just turned 20. I remember her parents asked me to help drive her back and forth to where she was schooled. I never thought that we would be doing music ministry together one day. Now that she is also one of the leaders of the young people in the church, it’s quite amazing. This six-minute finale is the medley of two modern English songs - King of My Heart and Raise a Hallelujah. I think it is appropriate to use these two songs as the ending. I hope that these musics will make Christ be more on the throne of our hearts, and we hope that we will always be immersed in music that glorifies Him. Frankly, I don’t feel what I did with this song is very Lo-Fi. but since my goal is to work with many singers so I did the songs in a way that spotlights their voices. Although the reach of my channel is limited, I only get about few hundreds views for each song, but frankly I have not actively pushed myself to more people. After all, it takes time, and I would rather spend time on being with my wife and children.
