A majority of films from the silent era are lost, this being partly due to them being made of more delicate material that was prone to disintegrating after many years. There were many gems from the 1920s that have been lost, and these are just the 5 that I would most like to see discovered again. There have been plenty of cases where important lost films were found again, though many of these happened in previous decades. As the years go by, it becomes more and more likely that, if they are sitting in an archive, they will be too badly damaged to ever be seen and appreciated again. At the end of the video, I'll name some organizations dedicated to finding lost films. The links will be at the bottom of this description. This video idea was suggested a while ago and I finally got around to doing it. There's definitely more films that could have been included, so maybe there will be a part 2 somewhere along the way.
