Is Veganism For Everyone? My fourteen month mark on a Vegan Diet | How I got here and How I'm doing
In this video, I go into great detail of my personal journey that ultimately led to me adopting a plant-based diet. I discuss how I got there, why it works for me, and why it doesn't work for others. The effects of eating nothing but whole food plant-based foods is a little more apparent now in retrospect after 14+ months after adopting this change in my life. ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R-SuThyZ3uU

Today I did a charity ride up the Grand Mesa. 20 miles up - 20 miles down. Elevation gain 4981 feet; no breaks, just a steady grind. I was happy for the triple chainring in the front but wished for higher gearing on the way down. My Fuji and Nishiki would have smoked this bike on the downhill section. Overall, this bike is great for short commutes and geared for easy starts and easier climbing, but for long hauls, it needs a really nice road seat and the one I had was sub-par... and you will not win any races on it.

Not feeling like much is getting done. The driver's side exhaust manifold is nothing but trouble on my old GMC. But I got some good yard sale goods and the springs showed up, even if they're useless right now!

This arrangement was recorded November 1997 in Lincoln, NE at The Lied Center for Performing Arts. The band is just over 200 members, composed only of select high school students from the state of Nebraska. We had only a few weeks of private rehearsal and preparation of our music and only two and a half days of rehearsal together before our performance. Keep that in mind as you listen. I have never since and likely never will again, have such a privilege as to be a member of such a band as this.
This arrangement of The Divine Comedy is written by Robert W Smith.
As a member of this band, I purchased a CD of the raw concert audio. A few years later, I re-mastered it in my studio and converted everything to MP3. Good thing, because later, I lost all of my CDs, including the original to this, along with all the other important information, such as our fearless Director (Anthony... from Georgetown University). Any information about these missing details from other members or organizers would be appreciated.
The song is broken into four movements
I. The Inferno
II. Purgatorio
III. The Ascension
IV. Paradiso

My brain is a little overstimulated so here is my decrompression ride, taking the long way home on the old 1980 Nishike Olympic 18 (Olympic 12 originally). This is truly one of my favorite bikes.
But wait! There's more!! Including life rants about current issues. And some killer fun downhill runs!

Just resting... back's injured and I cannot do any hard work today, so jammin it is.
This guitar is tuned slightly more than half a step down at 432Hz. The half step is really optional. To tune your guitar 432 Hz, pick the A string and tune it to a 432Hz tone and then proceed to tune the rest of the guitar to that string. Essentially, no matter which key, the instrument will play slightly flatter in a frequency that is much more friendly to the body vs the standard 440Hz "A" note.

Are you still using a microwave?? If you care about your health, get rid of it. I don't need to go into the various studies that illustrate the ill health effects, but here is a link to get you started down that rabbit hole below. I have not used a microwave for at least 10 years and think they are an abomination in the kitchen as it is not only unhealthy for you on many levels, but it really makes for very low-quality cooking - as someone who has cooked professionally in restaurants, this will not stand! Heating non-food items is the only safe and practical use I can see for one. Anyway, you can use this pan fry method to pretty much heat up ANYTHING you would normally microwave. What do you think people did to heat up food before electricity?

So what do you do when your truck blows a head gasket and you have a yard sale to do in 3 days? Well, go buy the first truck you find on craigslist of course!! The previous owner has as much character as this truck! The title was wet with cat piss upon receipt! No parking brake, no power brakes, vacuum leaks abundant, tires lopsided from sitting more than driving, but otherwise a strong workhorse! Surprise Bonus Road Rage Content!
Yup, he'll do.
