Solar Fields - Blue Moon Station A telos (from the Greek τέλος for "end", "purpose", or "goal") is an end or purpose, in a fairly constrained sense used by philosophers such as Aristotle. It is the root of the term "teleology," roughly the study of purposiveness, or the study of objects with a view to their aims, purposes, or intentions. So what of the city under the mountain? It seems that its name is tied to purpose, as the city and realm are tied to a purpose. A purpose of protecting ancient wisdom and harvesting a light that can spread out across the world someday. But is there a city under Mt. Shasta? I'm sure the answer will be vastly different depending on whom you ask. But I ask you to think in not so literal a mind. Think of the mountain as representing something, an idea or even an action. Then think of a city and what it might represent. Put those two ideas together and imagine a third, new and different representation coming from the joining of the prior two ideas. Could it be a purpose comes from such thinking? Could it be the nations and peoples of ancient times and realms knew of such purposes and that hidden within these wonderful myths and stories are these higher teachings, principles, ideas and truths that we of the younger realms are lacking? I think yes. It is the mark of someone wise to be aware of which ends are present in himself. It is the mark of someone wise to not just know and understand things, but to live according to them. These are some of the primary lessons handed down to us from the Ancient of Days and all the myths, revelations and truths of those realms, nations and peoples of old.
