This is one of the most confusing and difficult long vowels in the English language. I will show you my trick to know when to use each of the two long U vowel sounds. There are 2 different U vowel sounds. I will show you how to know which, by looking at my mouth. Watch the shape of my mouth and learn which sound comes next. I will show you my long vowel U hint. We will learn the long vowel UBE sound and 2 words. You will learn how to say Cube and Tube with an American English accent. Next, we will learn the long vowel UTE sound and 2 words. You will learn how to say Cute and Mute with an American English accent. Then we will learn the long vowel UNE sound and 3 words. You will learn how to say Dune, June, and Tune with an American English accent. Next, we will learn the long vowel ULE sound and 1 word.
