While there is no cure for chronic kidney disease (CKD), there are some lifestyle changes and home remedies that can help slow its progression and improve overall kidney function. Here are three simple remedies to consider:
Hydration: Staying properly hydrated is crucial for maintaining kidney function and slowing the progression of CKD. Aim to drink at least 8-10 glasses of water per day, and avoid consuming large amounts of fluid in a short period of time.
Diet modification: A diet that is low in salt, saturated fat, and processed foods, and high in fiber, fruits, and vegetables can help improve kidney function and slow the progression of CKD. Your doctor or a registered dietitian can help you develop a meal plan that meets your specific needs.
Exercise: Regular exercise can help improve circulation and kidney function. Aim to get at least 30 minutes of moderate-intensity exercise most days of the week, such as walking, cycling, or swimming.
It's important to remember that these remedies may not be suitable for everyone with CKD and to consult with your healthcare provider before making any significant changes to your diet or exercise regimen. Additionally, it's important to continue taking any prescribed medications and to attend regular check-ups with your healthcare provider to monitor your kidney function.

Under The Tread (1934)
Very detailed film showing the intricacies of tire manufacture. Much hand processing is done, many, many steps.
Fun little overview of what was required to make a tire during the early years of tire making. Adding layer by layer of fabric, then molding it, cooking it, popping it, treading it etc took a LOT of work and manpower. This was a interesting education for sure.

Low blood pressure, also known as hypotension, is a condition in which the blood pressure reading is below normal levels. Blood pressure is measured in millimeters of mercury (mmHg) and is expressed as two numbers: systolic pressure (the higher number) and diastolic pressure (the lower number).
A normal blood pressure reading is typically around 120/80 mmHg. Low blood pressure is generally defined as a systolic pressure of 90 mmHg or less and/or a diastolic pressure of 60 mmHg or less.
Diagnosis of low blood pressure can be made by measuring the blood pressure using a blood pressure monitor, and if the readings are consistently low, a medical evaluation may be necessary. The doctor will take into account the individual's symptoms, medical history, and physical examination to determine if there is an underlying medical condition causing the low blood pressure.
In some cases, further testing such as blood tests, electrocardiogram (ECG), or echocardiogram may be needed to help diagnose the cause of low blood pressure.
It's important to note that low blood pressure itself is not always a cause for concern, but it can be a symptom of an underlying medical condition that requires treatment.
