Come join me for a little talk about the debate on OE parts vs. aftermarket. Why is it important for customers to understand what they are really buying? Do aftermarket parts work? Customers believe that if an OEM part cost 1000 dollars, they can get an aftermarket for one tenth the price and it will be the same quality. Being in this industry for many years, I am here to tell you that it is absolutely not true. Aftermarket parts do not function as OEM ones do. That is a fact.

Please excuse the audio issues. Mic is giving me trouble. So, my buddy brings his son's car to us in this video and explains it has been overheating for a very long time. It is driven for a little while and the temp gauge goes into the red and coolant starts brewing. Another shop installed a water pump and timing belt assembly for this problem, but to no avail. Maybe we will have better luck?
