Critical Race Theory: Why You Should be Concerned | Divisive Definitions Ep 7
Critical Race Theory: why you should be concerned. Critical Race Theory (CRT) is not diversity training, but some diversity trainings are now using CRT to see the world first and foremost by race. So I wanted to make a video covering Critical Race Theory explained, and what to know about Critical Race Theory. When it comes down to words and their definitions, I have heard many people use words associated with Critical Race Theory, such as systemic racism, anti-racism, or white fragility. I think there are many issues in this world, including racism, and I think there is much that can and should be done to help our brothers and sisters. I don’t think that Critical Race Theory or any of the related concepts discussed here are the answer to ending racism, in fact I think most of them sound nice but actively make the problem worse.

Cinema Wins deviated from the usual review videos he does with one entitled “Silence”, and I’d like to talk about it. He talks about how silence is easy, but I disagree, silence isnt easy. Everyone thinks they have the right answers, and I feel like CinemaWins was both sincere and did a great job discussing the hard subject of racism, but I also feel like he missed the mark in places. What's the first thing that comes to mind when I say "mental health week"? For Utah State University, the apparent answer is "intersectionality", followed closely by "discrimination, oppression, marginalization", and identity politics. They even go so far as pole dancing for mental health week. The jokes write themselves, and you can't tell parody apart from reality. The good news is apparently everyone agrees that mental illness is connected to activism, intersectionality, and universities. The bad news is a significant portion of the local university's mental health week was actually just ideological indoctrination sessions. This is a response to Sarah Z, a response video because I think she made a bad video essay on debating. Well, I should say a good video essay on debating with very biased examples. Sarah talks about why we debate, and what one can truly learn from a debate, and there I think she did a really good job! It takes a turn for the worse when she cherry picks and attacks both Ben Shapiro and the Quartering. McMullin has taken opposing stances now compared to a few years ago, specifically in the realms of abortion, gun control, and the Affordable Care Act, sometimes called ObamaCare. Now is it OK for people to change their minds? Definitely! But I'm also a fan of political candidates who are transparent with their positions and principles, and when they might change their opinions on a given subject they could point to an overriding principle they are striving for, or new information that has come forward to change their minds.
