A child-friendly elephant's toothpaste experiement
It's half-term week, so myself and my daughter Sophie have been generally messing around, but wanted to try out a safe version of the Elephant's toothpaste experiment.
This is a bit of a dribble compared to the strong concentration of chemicals used in the normal demonstration, but it is a lot safer and you can happily do this in the kitchen without any thing blowing up/getting permanently burned/stained/etc
Here's the sciencey bit behind the experiment: The yeast acts as a catalyst to remove the oxygen from the hydrogen peroxide. Since it does this very fast, it creates lots of bubbles. The reaction is also exothermic - it creates heat as well as foam.
Much better explanations can be found online with the help of google, we just looked up how it was done after seeing it a few times :) ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dVdBawu0nC8
This is the Mother ending from Silent Hill 4 on the PC. By managing to defeat Walter before Eileen commited suicide by walking into the pool of blood, 21 Sacraments failed and both Walter and Eileen survived. Henry's room was however, possessed, and it's unclear what happened to the apartment building and it's tenants after this ending. Being old and lazy, having to unscrew and screw things in multiple times when fixing something feels like hard work. That's what I like about an electric screwdriver. But this one is "smart" it has upgradable firmware and has several modes and methods of operation. Let's check it out.
This screwdriver kit was kindly supplied by Sequre for review, so if you'd like to check out the kit in more detail please consider using the following affiliate link: https://sequremall.com/products/electric-screwdriver?ref=lkmnpe12&variant=43267637215420

I'm always fascinated watching a multi-copter fly... because in most cases it looks like they just shouldn't. In my goggles, I never really see how the quad look externally, so I dragged my lovely wife along to try and capture it on film - as I tried to get a bit of speed up.
I think it shows the speed and agility of the F450 quite nicely (flown in a mix of GPS and Attitude modes), I just think I turned to come back a bit early most times. The wind direction was against us when I flew at us, giving an extra 20kph when flying away !
When I gave her quick go (throttle locked, in GPS mode) I thought it was about 5 minutes, in reality I appear to have grabbed it off her again fairly quickly

Whilst the DJI and Walksnail goggles and kind of 1-trick ponies in that they support their own protocol, you can do an awful lot more with the very versatile HDZero goggles. Join me, and I'll explain why.
These HDZero goggles (and the little quad) were very kindly supplied by http://www.YourFPV.co.uk so if you want to check out the products in more detail, please consider using these links:

Is analog dead? Well, maybe if you are made of money and can transfer your entire fleet to your digital platform of choice. But if you've got even as half as many models as me then analog is something that will live on for a long time. But which analog module should you go for? Normally it's a case of getting your hands on an IRC RapidFIRE, or perhaps a TBS Fusion. But today we take a look at SpeedBees' 5.8Ghz Goggle module... it's certainly priced keenly, but can it hold up to the competition? Let's find out.
This module was kindly supplied by SpeedyBee for review, so if you want to check out the product in more detail, please consider using the following affiliate link: https://www.speedybee.com/speedybee-5-8ghz-goggles-receiver/?ref=CurryKitten

None of the dedicated 1S chargers I've looked at support storage charging - why not? The Flying Sandal had exactly the same though, and he came up with a handy solution for it - let's take a look.
You can take a look at the Flying Sandals YouTube channel here for further developments on his charging board https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC25rnMpDjevrslboiwFTHDw
If you are after one currently, then these are being sold via Race Day Quads (who have rather unhelpfully mislabeled it as a parallel charging board) here https://www.racedayquads.com/collections/new-products/products/the-flying-sandal-1s-parallel-charging-board

The Tyro99 is a cheap-as-chips 5" quad kit that looks like a pretty easy build. So let's take a look and see just how simple it is, and if it's any good in the air.
