I shake and sweat - it's gross, and sometimes embarrassing, but also very important to talk about performance anxiety and how to overcome it, whether in bed or on stage! Living with Palmoplantar Hyperhidrosis: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=98ax7rjLKA8 I also didn't mention much the relationship of my shaking with exercise, but that used to be a huge cause of embarrassment for me that would keep me from going to yoga sessions or the gym. Again, I just recommend getting comfortable with your symptoms because shaking can be totally natural and not a big deal! I also feel like I didn't give enough practical tips on dealing with performance anxiety, so here's some more: 1. Mindfulness - mindfulness and meditation can help a lot with performance anxiety. I recommend this for maintaining your mental health in general. Take time out to meditate and clear your mind of stress. Yoga is good for this too! 2. Eating - eating is literally so important in helping with performance anxiety and over all health. Eat before shows! 3. There's a really great root extract I consume a lot to help me with my anxiety. It's available as teas or pills, and can also help with insomnia and general anxiety disorders. It's called Valerian root.
