I know a bit odd title. bit it feels a bit like it since there was no official gameplay of the P90 recorded. this was not how I wanted it to happen so I'm a bit pissed off about that. so this are some footage I could scrape here and there from other cameras that shows a bit of the more serious testing with the UNW P90.
and how was it going? well pretty good. I need to use some stronger fish wire to winde up te spring so there is no risk of breaking it. but besides that does it work good. and the GEN8 looks like it's a good design but we were testing what spring would be good in 1 GEN 8 and one GEN6 mag and it looks like if we swab the stronger spring in from the GEN6 to the GEN8 that we got a winner. but we will see how it goes on a later date.
first strike testing with the FSR that was fed with the Dye mags and the P90 need neck plug on top worked well. no problems there and feeding round balls through it was going well as well.
the mag speed feed works well as well. so yeah it's getting there. but yeah no footage and I was not in his team so I can't see how it was preforming so we will see next time. but I guess this somewhat of an update.
here do I tell a bit on the UNW DHM mags that I have released. DHM standing for Dye Half Mag. and the universal feed neck mag adapters for it

TURN ON: Print Tiny walls! I did my best, but it was really time consuming to make it totally solid in the inside... so some walls are tiny depending on the scale you make it in. so check your preview fist in you slicer, Before printing!
I have made a 1/6 scale these can be used for like those action figures that use the 1/6 scale weapons.
wall thickness 4, infill 20% should be more than enough. but use your own judgment on it
for the promoting the FGC9 it would be nice so see some fun time laps movies of this. or some crazy colours! be creative with it. or use the 1/6 action figures.
put it out there.
the 52mm and 48mm version will refer to the inner shroud size. making the 52mm a thicker shroud then the 48mm one.
I don't think that I will re-upload all mini's to odysee. so if you like to see all the other models look at this collection on Printables
https://www.printables.com/social/180009-untangleworks/collections/88909
it's best to watch the video about it. not that this a complicated tool but I show some tips how to use it so it's faster/more easy to use it.
print this with 100% infill it might be a bit over kill but then it will not break on you wille using it. if you want to save some material.. you could go with 8 layer wall thickness and lets say 40% infill. but I leave that up to you.

this lower and Upper will work with the basic FGC68-MKII parts. except for a view buffer tubes models but replacement parts have been added.
this set will make it possible to use dye tactical mags with PE followers or PE CF20 mags with the FGC68 platfrom
the FGC68 starter set can be found here:

some of the installation steps that are different from the TIPX lower can be fund in the images for now (shown with the Half mag version but the steps are the same)
-
marker parts:
long range kit for TIPX or TCR internals for first strike use
I have not tested if the stock TIPX round shaped breach will match well with the Planet eclipse followers... for round-ball only use
-
mags parts:
self made dye half mags or the UNW DHM mag shells.
and you will need the PE followers the official ones. or the 3d printed PE replica.
note: you don't have to use the special Lok-bolt followers that I made. the stock shape of a PE follower should work like a bolt stop
the DYE Half MAG parts that I made can be found here. (half mag shells, followers)
https://cults3d.com/en/design-collections/UntangleART/dye-half-mag-parts
-
materials needed lower mag release:
paddle release
1x spring 6mm OD, 0.6mm wire, 12mm long
1x bolt m2 16mm long
L part
1x m3 bolt in a length of 25mm
FGC9 mag release paddle
1x metal pin 4mm OD, 27mm long (a 3d printed part can be used for this)
-
print settings:
0.2 layer hight should be fine.
you can use the 8 layer walls and a 40% infill.
but personally I moved a bit over to solid prints just to give it more strength in case things go wrong on the field…
Here do I talk a bit on my take on making a lower rail on the FGC9/FGC6 platform. this is done by the use of a: Flat Countersunk Head M3 Screws in a lengt of 14mm
here are the links to the LOW rails.

building this one is less fun then the FGC-6 FGC-6FA or FGC-6S since it's less DIY. but well it should be a lot more easy to have something reliable to practise with. or just have fun with shooting semi and full auto. in a hi cap or real cap format. what ever your taste is... this is the complete set of the FGC-6 G&G that have been made so far. the newer shroud models and UNW Low rails models have not been added. since this model of all the FGC-6's is the least interesting to me. jet you could say the best working one since it's just a re-skin kit basically... that should not effect the performance of your base replica
this M4 airsoft based AEG kit is made for the G&G Combat Machine. but it might work for other platforms as well. I would recommend looking first at the movie to see if the mounting points look a bit the same before starting out printing parts…
this rail kit will make it possible to use the FGC-6G&G shrouds on your G&G Combat Machine.
there is also a mounting point in the shroud for a outer barrel to be mounted on. this is currently only made for 1 shroud and barrel length. but this should be a part that can be easy made your self to a different size
you will need to use 2x M3 bolt 12mm long to mount the shroud block (“pin”)
and 3x M5 bolt 30mm long
and 2x M3 bolts of 10 or 12mm long for mounting the outer barrel
