Everyone forgot about the best linux how-tos(vlog) | It & Devops Career Secrets
In this video I talk about one of the best, and often overlooked, resources for people getting starting with linux and unix. This is not only useful just for sysadmins, or people getting into IT, but also for hobbyists and generalists as well. ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cdmFfLf5mr0
Politics is everywhere these days, and it's hard to avoid in the workplace. In this video I talk about how to talk about politics, and not only not kill each other, but hopefully maintain friendships as well as the respect of those who disagree with and disagree with you.
This video does not advocate for any particular political positions, parties, or ethos.
Thanks for the feedback on the audio; this was recorded at the same time as my last video. I've adjusted it after the fact and hopefully it's a little better. Hopefully the next video will sound better.

In this video I walk through how to setup a virtualbox vm to stream video content to any platform which uses a webcam and mic to do video chatting/conferencing. This allows for a lot of different options in terms of services as well as not being tied to a streaming platform & makes it easy to use your own media if you prefer not to stream.
If you would prefer to download a pre-configured vm w/o having to set it up yourself, it is available for $5 at: https://gum.com/oss-streambox

In this video, I talk about the virtue of unix/linux user groups. They've declined in popularity over the years, but I still think they're incredibly useful. If you're new to linux/unix administration, they can be a great way to find mentors and network for finding a job. It's also a great way to meet like-minded interesting people.
