In this video I show you the steps to replacing the top of a sprinkler valve. Sometimes it is a good idea to go ahead and replace the entire top of the valve, which you can do. The new top has the new diaphragm, solenoid, and spring in it. This can solve many problems with the valve and can make the repair easy and efficient. This will help with your sprinkler system valve troubleshooting.

Need to fix a broken sprinkler head and you don't want to dig? Well in this video I will show how you can fix a broken sprinkler head without having to dig it up.

This technique of a broken sprinkler head repair without digging up the head is great to know and will save you time and from having to get too dirty. This will not work in all cases, so unfortunately, you will need to dig most of the time. But when you have a situation like this one, you can simply change out the guts of the head and put a new nozzle in and you are good to go. The one big tip when repairing a broken sprinkler head this way is, stick with the same manufacture of head. If it is a Hunter pro spray then buy a new Hunter pro spray and switch out the parts form the new head to the one in the ground. If it is a Rain Bird head, then use Rain Bird parts. Toro, use Toro. Wearthermatic. K-Rain. What ever brand it is, just use the same brand going back in with good parts.
