Earlier this year, MTA's Long Island Railroad leased a handful of push-pull coaches from Maryland Department of Transportation's MARC commuter rail system, for the summer season, for at least 3 years, to allow more C3's to be used in the Montauk Branch due to overcrowding.
These coaches were previously leased to SEPTA, during the Silverliner V crisis.
On Sunday, 25 June 2017, the MARC II coaches were delivered to LIRR via Amtrak.
On Thursday, 29 June 2017, these coaches made a test run to Port Jefferson, for clearance testing and to ensure everything was working properly.
On Friday, 30 June 2017, a train of 5 MARC II coaches with a DE30AC locomotive at each end entered revenue service on the Port Jefferson Branch, as train 613, the 6:57 out of Port Jefferson to Hunterspoint Avenue. It would make a second revenue run as train 664 out of Hunterspoint Avenue to Port Jefferson, departing at 17:47.
The consist was of the following:
Westbound
EMD DE30AC 411
MARC II 7747
MARC II 7707
MARC II 7756
MARC II 7706
MARC II 7754

This is a vintage Mac I no longer have, but nevertheless, I made a video about it while I had it. This was a Performa 580CD, basically an updated version of the 575 but with an IDE HDD & a SCSI CD-ROM drive & a Goldstar shadow-mask CRT as opposed to using a SCSI HDD & IDE CD-ROM drive & a SONY Trinitron CRT. This had a logic board from a Macintosh Performa 6200.

This is a test video using DAIN to smoothen the framerates, and bring it up to 60fps. I thought this would be limited to just animations, but the DAIN algorithm worked better than I expected with normal videos.
DAIN requires an NVIDIA graphics card that supports at least CUDA 5.0 or newer:

Just a compilation of several time-lapses I had sitting around. Some were scrapped clips from a final project I had, some were used in the final project, and some were unrelated.
Also debut of the english lettering of my username.

A view from the front window of the BRT BU gate cars, which was running on the Brighton Express tracks as part of the Parade of Trains.
As part of the annual event of the Parade of Trains, four museum trains, from the New York Transit Museum were prepared for the event, with three of them running shuttles between Brighton Beach and Kings Highway, where passengers could board at Brighton Beach, on the Brighton Line.
This tradition started in 2015 when the BMT reached its centennial and has been done every mid-June weekend. This year, it was held for Father's Day weekend.
Featured in this year's Parade Of Trains were the Train of Many Metals (this year's consist was R16 6387, R40 slants 4280–4281, R38s 4028-4029, and R10 3184), the BMT AB "Standards", the BRT BU "Gate Cars", and the BMT D-type "Triplex".
Special Notes:
The D-type "Triplex" was on stationary display this year.
The Standards were taken out of service early due to mechanical issues, so was unable to get footage onboard.
The TOMM was nearly taken out of service due to one of the car doors not triggering the door indicator, but after a few minutes, the issue resolved itself.
