Spent a good bit of time today looking at the Nashville Statement in light of the Revoice/PCA/Greg Johnson situation last week. What is ahead for the PCA? For all of us? Also looked at some comments from Dr. Jamin Hubner on the same section of the Nashville Statement. Looked at some Bradly Mason claims, looked at a few other tweets, talked about biblical racism, and finally some words about Norman Geisler. Visit the store at https://doctrineandlife.co/

Just a reminder, our connection is due to be repaired on 9/11 (ironic, no?), so till then we have been stumbling and mumbling along with little real speed and connectivity. Our apologies! Talked about upcoming debates and discussions along with a few articles of important relevance in regards to Christian worldview issues today! Went straight to the office from the airport upon my return from Dallas to do the program today. Was joined by Mike O'Fallon of the Sovereign Alliance at the top of the hour, talking about the tour to Germany a few weeks ago, and about the upcoming Washington Summit he is organizing. Then we moved into a lengthy review and response to Jeff Dornik regarding "IFDs." Gave him the opportunity to call in and respond, but alas, he must have been too busy to do so. Finished up talking about the Lollards in our Reformation history recap. A "jumbo" edition today! More to come later in the week!

Tackled the ever so easy, light issues of “White evangelicals,” Christian Nationalism, sacralism, and the recent dust-ups that had Reformed men posting clown-shoe memes about other Reformed men (all causing the angels in heaven to weep, me thinks). Had to do some eschatology and a lot more, but the fact is, it is indeed Christ or chaos, we must witness to the state what Christ demands, and we must live out what obedience looks like.

Started off rejoicing in today's judgment in the sinful lawsuit Ergun Caner brought against Jason Smathers. Justice was done, for we all knew the Marine videos were "fair use," and Caner failed to intimidate his critics and hide these facts from the world. I hope and pray those around Caner will call him to repent and abandon his claims of innocence and exoneration even more loudly now. Then we moved on to finish our exegesis of John 6:36-45, and then we listened to Kerrigan Skelly's attempt to get around this passage's plain testimony to the utter sovereignty of the Triune God in the salvation of sinners. Had to rush a bit at the end, but got to most of it. Lots of original language discussion here, but I hope our viewers will find it helpful.
Pastor John Samson is back to guest host on today’s program: Imagine the scenario. You’ve had an amazing conversation with someone which has led to their conversion to Christ. You have just an hour with them. After that, you may never see them again. What are the most important things you would wish him to know? What follows is the answer to that question.

Just had to make note of the monumental Alabama Supreme Court decision and the issue of "By What Standard" that simply cannot be avoided. Then we looked at some further issues I had forgotten to get to on the last program about claims Trent Horn made and how all of this is so vitally relevant to the direction Roman Catholic apologetics is heading. Important stuff!

For the first ten minutes I was "Twitter distracted" and talked about "dead air nightmares" from my youth. I guess you could say the first hour was loosely connected to the Presidential Food Fight from Tuesday night, while the last 20 minutes was on the actual debates that will take place Friday and Saturday between myself and Dr. Riddle. But I covered a lot of stuff (mask mandates, the CCP, etc.) during the first hour, and then decided to tack on the discussion of the upcoming debates on the Textus Receptus. I promised to link to the live streams of the debates, and so here they are: Friday night's debate on Mark 16:9-20, and Saturday morning's debate on Ephesians 3:9.
