After finding out this was installed in 1982, I couldn’t resist adding the lyrics to Speed Racer by Devo. This building is undergoing renovations so I don’t know if this will stay original.

This literally happened overnight. The elevator was working at 1AM but was broken when I left my dorm room. Fire door closed and everything. Fortunately, Peak Elevator is going to be getting fired soon and KONE is going to take over LCCC. The motor overheated multiple times last night so I should have seen this coming.
