This short video shows you the new projector stands I've been working on. These were built out of 3/4" AC plywood (one good side, one "so-so" side.) The main support was built by cutting the ends at a 45 degree angle and then a spline groove was cut in to make a more solid "box" when glued together. The top of the support is capped by a 1/2" Baltic Birch plywood cover with a 3-1/2" hole cut into it for the projector yoke support column. There is another plate right above the top retaining pin hole that also has a 3-1/2" hole cut into it to support the column. The column is made from a 5' long length of black PVC pipe. The legs are made from a pair of 30" long, crossed 2x4 pine with four 2-1/2" steel castering wheels mounted on them. I'm very happy with how this turned out! ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mZWrRCaFgOE
