When thinking about the ways in which the NBA has changed throughout the years, a lot of these changes are thanks to one man. NBA’s commissioner, David Stern. The most controversial call that David Stern may have made throughout his time as commissioner, was that of the Chris Paul trade. Knowing that had Chris Paul been traded to the Lakers, the team would have been stacked so much that no other team would have had a chance, he decided to veto that trade all together. There have been many changes throughout the years in which David Stern had a say in, and his contributions to the NBA is likely why he earned a spot in the hall of fame.
