★ The Hidden:Source - OH GEEZ! NOOOO! - Part 5 (w/ KestalKayden)
In this Hidden Gameplay series, KestalKayden plays through as either Iris Agents or The Hidden. This is a Hidden:Source commentary that is solo, unless a collab is presented in the future.
The Hidden Source is a Half Life 2 mod which provides you with thrilling adrenaline-pumping multiplayer action where there are two teams that fight to the death.
The Hidden has two Teams. Iris Agents (Infinitum Research Intercept Squad) which consists of the majority of the players who log into the server, and The Hidden, better known as "Subject 617".

As Iris Agents, you pick your guns and bonuses and fight against 1 person, Subject 617. The Hidden is secret genetic experiment gone wrong (or perhaps right). When an IRIS agent kills The Hidden, they have a strong chance to play as The Hidden (or Subject 617) in the next round.
Each class as the Iris agent has different types of weapon strengths and skills. You can be an assault class and focus heavy on assault weapons or shotgun, or go choose a support class and help your team mates out as they kill the Hidden, or set alarms so that when something passes by them, they'll turn on and alert you.
Subject 617 (The Hidden team) is by himself, but has the ability to lunge far distances, feed off the corpses of IRIS for more health, and explode people with an instant death Knife Kill known as the "Pig Sticker". Oh, did I forget to mention that The Hidden is practically invisible?
The knife is quite fun to use both as slashing and as pig-sticking. If you kill someone with just slashing them (and if they are not exploded), then you can feast on their body for 20% extra health. This can improve your chances as The Hidden. You can carry the bodies around as you jump around to scare off your enemies. The Hidden (dependant on the map) also has grenades at his disposal.

If you watch closely you can just barely see a heatwave wash towards you as The Hidden kills you with his Pig Sticker, or attacks you slowly so he can harvest you later for health.
This Half-Life 2 mod is amazing fun and it can be purchased fairly cheaply at Steam. The Hidden is a great way to take your frustration out in multi-player in a satisfying yet hilarious way. As the Hidden, you can really mess with IRIS agents by picking up objects or people and throwing them around, while leaping around and planning your next move.

You are forced to survive on a map that is dynamically and randomly generated when you first log in; you will encounter animals for food, resources such as trees for wood, and so much more. You can build yourself shelter from monsters, or mine precious minerals to help you along the way and make your adventure even more fun.

Mojang continues to work on releasing updates that continue to bring in more features. For example, they added potatos and carrots which are easy to harvest and plant, making food production that much easier. They added new block decorative types such as paintings, flower pots, and picture frames, as well as adding new blocks like Nether Quartz or Comparators.
Redstone allows you to create semi-automated, if not automated game mechanics to provide you with a more creative experience. You can use redstone to create an automated lighting system, or even an automated melon farm.

You can create many wonderful logic-based contraptions with redstone and even build a beacon to give you passive buffs to help destroy your enemies. Mojang and the Minecraft Team continuously add new blocks and features to the game to help enhance the gameplay and experience, not only for yourself in single player, but with others in multiplayer as well.
During Christmas 2012, they added Fireworks which was a rather big hit among many minecraft users, as well as things like nether ores, comparators, and daylight sensors.

In this Marvel Heroes First Impressions and Review, Kestalkayden goes through in this stream to play Marvel Heroes (also was originally known for Marvel Universe Online or Marvel Universe).
The gameplay of Marvel Heroes is similar to what you would expect from action RPG's like Diablo II and other games like Path of Exile, but with a marvel/superhero twist.
Marvel Heroes is free to play and will include micro-transactions to help fund the game and its development. Players do not have to spend money on the game if they do not want to, and it would not diminish from the experience in any way.
Players will be able to choose from a large cast of Marvel superheroes; each of these characters is well known and iconic. Prior to its release date, only a select number of characters are released; from many major superheroes like Iron Man to lesser known ones like Squirrel Girl.
Only a small portion of characters have been announced and Marvel Heroes will be continuing to increase their pool of playable characters as time goes on. Players will be able to also purchase limited character edition packs to get access to exclusive heroes from the Marvel universe. These packs have already been released under the "Founders Program" and they give access to new heroes, items, and in-game currency.
Each character has strengths and weaknesses that offer players a wide variety of attacks and a unique experience. You can experience the entire game without paying any money. You can play as Iron Man, Thor, Wolverine, Hulk, and many more famous superheroes.
You can make your hero unique with a wide range of powers and costumes, while discovering enhancements in game to further increase your superheroes overall power. You can also visit famous locations that are usually seen within the Marvel comic books, while fighting incredible enemies that provide a constant challenge to the player.
You can even team up with your friends for party bonuses and face challenging foes to give yourself more loot for the taking. Marvel Heroes is a unique MMO experience that is free to play, addictive, and looks like it will be tons of fun for just about any gameplay style.
If you haven't had a chance to look at Marvel Heroes, I suggest you take a look and see if you'll like it or not. It is free to play and the game does come out early next month so you should definitely check it out.

Wraeclast is a dark and brutal world which is scarred and cursed by many catastrophes of the past; due to this, it is inhabited by many horrific creatures. The environment itself challenges the will of each exile that dares enter Wraeclast.
The art style of Path of Exile is considered dark and gritty, which is a nice change compared to many of the bright RPGs which are being released. Wraeclast, in Path of Exile, is meant to be terrifying and the developers have done it justice.

The witch is a class that controls magical elements and centers around intelligence and knowledge. The witch contains both arcane magic and deadly combat abilities (improves critical strikes). The witch is a unique ranged class which can deal monstrous amounts of damage to her enemies that dare stand in her way. The witch class is female, and only female.
If you haven't had a chance to play Path of Exile yet, you are missing out. Path of Exile is a fun and free game to play, especially if you grew up on other real RPGs that you wish would get upgraded or updated with better graphics or gameplay. This game is something you do not want to miss out on.

Blacklight Retribution is a fast-paced free to play shooter developed by Perfect World Inc which immerses the player in futuristic yet fluid combat scenarios.
In this adrenaline pumping shooter you can customize your character and weapons as you see fit while facing players who are set to take you out. Among all the shooters that I've played, Blacklight Retribution is one of the fastest shooters out there where you can just jump in and play.
There is a scoring system which lets you increase your levels; this does multiple things that include getting in-game currency and being able to purchase new weapons with that currency. You can also modify your character in many ways as well; whether you wish to focus your blacklight retribution character on stealth or make him a tank, that is up to you!

Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning is an Action Roleplaying game by 38 Studios and Big Huge Games. The Amalur realm features a fully in-depth open world that spans a large distance. The reckoning is set in an area called the Faelands, which is one of the kingdoms in the game which are home to the immortal Fae (or Elves).
The Fae are of the Summer and Winter courts and are a governing and wise force throughout the land. The faelands are separated into the forests of Dalentarth, the Plains of Erathell, the territories of Detyre, the marshes of Klurikon, and the Kingdom of Alabastra.
Kingdoms of Amalur is reminiscent of games such as Skyrim but set with more fantasy-like undertones. You have a fully customizable skill table and your play style can develop based solely on how you'll grow throughout the game. You are known as the "Fateless One" which gives you a unique opportunity to bend fate to your will, and change the destiny of the kingdom, forever.
The kingdoms are at war with a corrupt group of Winter Fae known as the Tuatha Deohn who seek to exterminate all unworthy. It is said that the Fateless One can turn the tides of war of Amalur; it is up to you to decide the fate of the kingdoms and how you play will decide just who you are allied with.
