Join Doug at 6:30pm EST (Saturday, 4/24/21) as he reveals what many Pastors already know: there are writings in the Apocrypha as well as some of the epistles of the Bible that weren't written by who they are attributed to. Examples: Enoch (penned during the intertestimental period thousands of year after his earthly life), Jude (which quotes Enoch), 2 Peter, among others of Paul's letters that are disputed. (Hebrews was written anonymously but is often attributed to Paul). Pastors don't tell us this, especially with regard to the accepted canon of the Bible, because they've been telling us that the 66 book version of the Bible we have are perfect and inerrant, that all of it ties together perfectly. Meanwhile, the avid and persistent reader sees otherwise and by the Holy Spirit notices when writings in the epistles do not line up with what came before (and especially with the teachings of Jesus). He/she also notices that the voicing, writing style, and even information within belies that the epistle couldn't author the writing is attributed to. Yet we are told to read and accept without question. What is going on here and what could be the purpose? Of course to turn us away from the true gospel that also lies within the same bindings, as well as to manipulate and gaslight us with the extra-Word writings so we will remain compliant and ready to empty our pockets.
