Alternative processing of the time lapse images I posted earlier, with dynamic background subtraction using PixInsight to enhance the contrast.
I recorded this 1 hour time lapse of comet ISON this weekend at the Northwest Florida Observatory using their 20" Meade telescope.
Galaxies NGC 3428 and 3429 are visible on the left side of the image.

I reprocessed some old data I had of the Trifid Nebula, as well as images of the telescope tracking the sky for over two hours as it captured the Trifid. These images were taken on 6-29-14 with a Canon T5i (time lapse of the telescope) and an SBIG ST-2000XCM (time lapse and stacked image of the Trifid nebula).
