I wrote this article on death in September of 2018, yet, whenever the subject of death comes up, it becomes a way of reflecting on a subject we're all too aware of.
I hope you find a way to deal with the pain that often comes with it.
Whether it's loss from the death of a friend, sibling, pet, no matter who it is or when losing a loved one has the tendency to change us in profound ways.

My heartfelt gratitude to all who listened to the first episode. It was an almost unanimous comment that the pilot was way too long and that I may need to structure my thoughts for the subsequent episodes. In light of that, I have bad news for you.
Well, good and bad news.
First, the bad news. This episode is not particularly structured. There is a central theme, and I experimented with a guest in the second part of the show. The role of friendship did not pop up as I had intended, but I still think you’re going to enjoy the discussion between my special guest and I.
Now, the good news is: this episode is shorter!! And, there is a real sponsor this time. Yeaup. 2545 Business Consulting sponsored this edition of the programme and I will be attending the Business Networking Soiree where there will be business and other professionals. As guest, there will be the very talented Max Lyonga.
I am sure I’ll be in for a great night!
Other good news: this may be my podcast and an avenue for me to share my thoughts with the world, but what I care most about is having a great laugh. That is why in the second part of the podcast, my best friend and I talk about other friends.
Basically, we spend the evening laughing at each other. I'd love to hear your thoughts...on my thoughts on friendship.
And don't forget to subscribe!! The name is the same on all social media: tchassakamga

Leslie Meya caught my eye in 2013, before she caught my friendship. 6 Years later, we're still having fun together and now both experiencing America as immigrants. I came for love, and she came through a coveted route, by most Cameroonian standards. I find it funny that for the unrecorded hours Leslie and I have talked in the past, we had do this 'short' episode. This episode was recorded the week my wife was graduating, which was why Leslie was in Colorado in the first place.
We'll be back in the future with more when she's settled into the US, I can promise you that.
In her words;
" Soulful, sexual, sensual. A bit of hot and cold but not warm.... not perfect. People's person without being a people's person.".
In this episode, we talk about:
* How she got into poetry in the first place (hint: I had a hand in it)
* How she looks forward to impacting the human resource industry
* Her experience with moving to the US the way she did
* Losing her grandmother, her sister and the change she was forced through by the painful experiences.

Taken straight from my Facebook page, this is my first QnA long form video dedicated to writing and content creating in text form.
Yeah, I know, why would I do such a stupid thing?
I answered questions about writer's block, how to fact check fact checkers and goofed my way around for 1 hour.
I'm putting this here so that in a few months, when I get better at this "thaing", I'll be proud of myself.
Essentially, I'm sending myself a gift in the future. :)

5 things I wish I knew before I got married | Marriage Advice for African Men
Before I got married two years ago, I had no idea how much this would require that I grow personally.
Over time, after getting a lot of advice from people like my father and other trusted friends, I've been able to pick personal lessons that I now apply to my own life.
In a way, I think a lot of what I say here can be considered marriage advice for men - especially Cameroonian men.
Then again, even if you are a wife, this could be useful for you as well.
Relationships are already hard enough, what if these lessons could help you with your marriage?
I don't even consider it marriage advice, to be honest. But hey, a man can dream, right?
