2012 Kawasaki Ninja 650 oil change - quick edition - no fairing removal required
Quick version of my previous video
Required tools/materials:
17 mm socket to remove drain plug
1 socket wrench
1 - 1 1/2" 3/8" socket extension
Oil cup as in video
2 Qts of 10w40 oil that meets operator's manual oil recommendations
1 - 8" or so long piece of 2x4
1 flat head screw driver
Do not put drain plug in too loose or too tight, you'll strip the threads or it'll fall out.

filter and oil change on Kawasaki Ninja 650
Tools needed:
drain plug - 17 mm socket
3/8" ratchet
2" 3/8" extension
front sprocket cover bolts - 8 mm "long" socket
oil filter "cup" is a Toyota style part number W54118 from Performance Tool
Correct oil filter from local source or Kawasaki (A Mobile1 M1-110 will fit - use at own risk)
10w40 - 2 Quarts ( you will have a little left over )
