Within the last two weeks over the US Presidential Election period, John Kerry flew to New Zealand and Antarctica---the highest ranking American official to ever visit Antarctica. A huge new treaty was announced covering an ocean area twice the size of the state of Texas, USA. Kerry was given the script immediately after entering office as Secretary of State in 2013 and earnestly began a campaign to get the new Ross Treaty ban passed.
