ShBoom makes an appearance at the Woodward Dream Cruise each summer.
It is a fire belching Cadilac with a setup in the exhaust that allows fire to explode when the engine is revved.
Join jldr.com as we video ShBoom at work during the 2008 Woodward Cruise in the Berkley, Michigan area.
Every summer thousands come from all over the world to witness the auto spectacular known as
The Woodward Dream Cruise on Woodward Avenue. "You can't give it away on Woodward Avenue" but the
cars give away a lot of engine reving, tire squealing entertainment. ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xux4nHicNgk
Showing two new items for backpacking today. A product called Fresh Balls and then the Enlightened Equipment VISP Rain Jacket. Fresh Balks is a lotion that dries quickly and then prevents moisture in troublesome areas and prevents chafing. It’s used in place of Body Glide.
The VISP is an ultralight rain jacket custom made by Enlightened Equipment in Minnesota. The Large size that I ordered weighs in at 6.0 oz. I had Pit Zips added for an extra $10. The zippers are 11 inches long and should work well to vent the pits. One thing I noticed is that the zipper on the front seems to be installed backwards from a normal male jacket. Other than that, quality looks good.
I did call Enlightened Equipment about the zipper and they said that this is normal for the waterproof zipper. In order to get a waterproof zipper that would zip the other way like a normal zipper, they would have to order 20,000 and that wouldn’t be practical. After wearing it a few times, you will get used to it.

The Himiway Zebra is a great E-Bike. When you are going 20 MPH and in 7th gear, all is well. If you unlock the bike so it can reach speeds around 25 MPH, you would be pedaling way too fast. Changing the 46T crank gear to a 52T gear would help to slow down your pedaling.
That being said, I ordered a 52T crankset gear assembly with both pedal arms to replace the current 46T gear. Once I took the old crankset gear off and went to install the new 52T gear, I discovered the diameter was too large and it would rub on the frame. I had to send it back and used the old 46T gear.
The only other option would be to try a 48T or 50T gear but I'm not sure either of those would fit. If you plan to do this to your Himiway Zebra, make sure you really measure it. In this case, it's very hard to see if it will fit until you actually try it.

Today's nature moments were a lot of fun to observe. There were several turkeys feeding next to deer in our yard playing and chasing each other. At one point, a turkey decided to snap at the doe that was near it but then they settled and decided to get along with each other. Then I found a young fawn in a stream with the mom nearby. Watch as the fawn runs to the mom.
Enjoy!

This is from a ride I took on October 24, 2022 and you will still see lots of fall colors.
It was really great to see the colors but now I'm seeing a lot of trees that are half full of colorful leaves. It won't be long and then they'll all be gone and winter will be on its way.
This is Part 1 of 3 of the ride. I do carry on a conversation about what's been going on so it should provide some entertainment.

I was sitting in my office and saw a movement out the window. There was a doe with two baby fawns. Most fawns are born around the same time at the end of May to allow for survival of the fittest. Most of them survive because of this. They were so cute. One was laying in the grass and you could only see its ears. Later at night, I saw one fawn outside so went with my flashlight and took a video of it. I think the mother abandoned it yesterday. She had twins and took one with her while the other one was laying down in our yard. This morning it was gone so hopefully the mother came back to pick it up.
